Blank Icons.
In the interface folder you named one of the graphics files "aux". or "aux.gfx"
"aux" is a reserved name in windows which isn't meant to be used according to it's naming convention.
For more information about this head here [learn.microsoft.com]
Since you named this as file "aux" It become invalid and won't work in windows leading to undisplayed/blank icons.

To fix this please rename "aux" into something else.

Currently cannot select my own research, currently running this mod and NSC with NSC at the bottom of the load order, automate research works fine but when clicking on an individual research option i get the audio que but nothing happens

fixed with last update, nsc and my own tech files were conflicted.
