Mod Works GREAT if I Read Instructions Carefully! :-)
Was not working in my main playset, created a playset with only this mod in it, started a new game, went with default option. Started as France, chose orange for my color, no color change. Sadness, because I would love for this to work.

It does work.

You must not have properly read the steam page or the event where you choose your color. The game engine does not automatically update map colors and needs to be triggered by something else like passing a law.

The simplest would be to save your game, reload your save and it will change.

Its not ideal, but it is what it is.
