Some suggestions
I really do not like how you lose gear after a battle, can you add a option to toggle on a replacement system that cost the player money instead of losing gear? Or in the mod settings a option to disable consumption of gear?

You could also add a repair system so that instead of buying a replacement that you fix broken gear with crafting materials. It would give players a reason to dismantle gear they do not need for materials.

I would suggest adding troop gear value to the recruitment cost of troops, that way you can hire new troops without abusing the gear system and you wont have to look for new gear for every new recruit you get. It would also give the player a good reason to accept rescued troops to their party for free stuff. Or duplicate all the recruit gear and set its sale price to 0 and make it useless for crafting.

With how much gear you need for troops now it would be nice if there was more gear to buy at towns to make life a little easier.

While getting more loot from battles is nice, it would have been better to add it directly to the party inventory so that the player can choose what to stash in the armory. Or auto sell/dismantle toggle option for different tiers of gear in the armory.
