Walkthrough
Spaceship Control Room

To leave the room, you must first fix the airlock.

There is a note in the room that will give you info. (location in next step)

The note is on the side of the locker on the right.

To find the "mission start date", you use the Earth's current date and the most recent Captain's Log date.

There are 2 Captain's Logs. The one on the desk is not the most recent. There is another hidden somewhere else. (location in next step)

The most recent Captain's Log is under the locker on the right.

Need help with figuring out the mission start date? (explanation in next step)

Subtract the Current Earth Date (2362-09-15) from the most recent Captain's Log (3 years, 8 months, 6 days), with the format "m/d/yy" (Solution in next step)

Code to locker 2 is 1959.

The green keycard inside locker 2 opens the small cabinet under the desk.

Use the Airlock Guide to know the button sequence to push on the control panel on the right of the display. (Explanation in next step)

Divide the Airlock number (38) into the increments 10, 5, and 1 to close the airlock (Blue=10, Green = 5, and Red = 1; with closing operation = Yellow x2). (Solution in next step)

There is a hint on the back of the Captain's Log found in the desk cabinet.

The hint relates to the locker on the left. Find the birthdate of the person's whose locker is on the left.

Hint: The birthdate and ID number are on the person's keycard. And where would you put a keycard to keep it safe? (solution in next step)

The keycard with the info is inside the locker on the left. Crouch and zoom in to see the info.

Use the birthdate (10/20/2302) to find their current age, then put the last 2 digits of their ID after. (Solution in next step)

5973 is the combination to the locker on the left.

Inside the locker on the left are hidden markings (location in next step)

Under the notebook are markings.

Use those markings on the control panel on the left. It relates to how you must set the sliders, dials, and switches. (Stuck? Additional info in the next step)

Notice the blue slider. (Additional info in the next step)

The markings are upside down. Put them in the correct order to get the level 3 clearance keycard to leave the room, using the keypad reader and then touchpad button.


Hallway

At the end of the hallway are notes that should give you some information that could help.

There is a note somewhere in the hallway that has the master keypad code written on it. That code will open some of the other rooms. (Another hint in the next step)

Look where there are other sticky/post-it notes... (Another hint in the next step)

Look closely at each door/doorframe. (Solution in the next step)

The note is on the back of the door to Room 7, the spaceship room you just came out of. How can you see the whole thing?? (Solution in the next step)

Go back into Room 7, close the door but quickly leave the room so the door closes behind you. You will then be able to see the back of the door and the note with the keypad code.


Room 3

Enter the master keypad code to enter Room 3. (Hints and solution to find code are in the previous section)

There is a message hint inside one of the chests. Hold on to this, as it is used somewhere else.

Inside this room is a hidden note that will let you open another room. (Solution in the next step)

The note is on the security camera in the upper corner by the door. Default code=9988.

There is a chest locked with a 3-digit combination lock with the hint "OLD". You need a clue found in another room to solve this...(Hint in the next step)

The hint for the combination lock is found in Room 4. Have you been in there yet? (Hint for lock follows)

Use the hieroglyphics chart found in Room 4 to find the symbols for O, L, and D.

Look inside the sarcophagus to see symbols.

Count the number of times the symbol for O appears. Then L, then D. (Solution follows)

Room 4

You cannot enter the master keypad code or default code for Room 4, as the keypad needs a new battery. Find a battery first before entering.

Have you entered Room 1 yet? You need to in order to enter Room 4. (If you have been, hint to retrieve the battery in the next steps)

In Room 1 is the Maintenance Closet key. Use that on the Maintenance Closet door in the hallway.

Inside the Closet is a battery. Use that for the keypad.

Once you have the keypad working, you use the default code 9988 to enter.

Use the hint poem found in Room 3 to unlock the locked box inside this room. (More hints follow)

Each of the 4 lines of the poem references something found in the room that will give you a number. (Line 1 hint in step 8, line 2 hint in step 10, line 3 hint in step 12, line 4 hint in step 14) (Solution for the locked box in step 16)

Line 1 references a fireplace. Look closely in the fireplace. (Solution in the next step)

2 is in the fireplace.

Line 2 references the moon. Look around to find the moon...where is it? (Solution follows)

Pull apart the curtain to see the moon and the number 4.

Line 3 references the bookcase. Look closely at the bookcase. (Solution follows)

One of the books can be pulled to have the bookcase moved and behind it is written 8.

Line 4 references a heart. Look around the room to find something heart-shaped. (Solution follows)

In one of the desk drawers is a heart pendant. On the back is the number 9.

Room 1

You cannot enter the master keypad code for Room 1, as the keypad is set to the default code. Find out what that code is to enter the room. (Hint in the next step)

The default keypad code is written on a note hidden in Room 3. (Solution in the next step)

The note is on the security camera in the upper corner by the door inside Room 3. Code=9988

There is a word search on the wall. Look for words.

You should see 4 words.

4 different numbers. (Solution follows)

"ONE", "FOUR", "FIVE", and "SEVEN".

The arrow on the side indicates the order of the numbers in the location they are in the word search. (Solution follows)

Room 5

To get inside Room 5, use the key. It is locked in Room 1. Use hints for that section

Get inside the jail cell.

The key is hanging on a hook on the wall.

Search the cell...

There is a saw in the toilet.


Maintenance Closet

You must find the 4 tools: screwdriver, hammer, saw, and wrench. They are scattered throughout the rooms. (Hint for hammer in step 2, screwdriver in step 3, wrench in step 4, saw in step 5)

The hammer is on the stool in Room 1.

The screwdriver is locked in the box in Room 4.

The wrench is locked in the chest in Room 3.

The saw is hidden in the toilet in Room 5.

You must place the 4 tools in the correct order, given to you in the rules on the note by the door. (Solution follows)

Observation Hallway

Look for numbers written somewhere...

Look inside the windows to the rooms. You should find 3 numbers in 3 of the rooms.

Number 1 written in Room 9, number 2 written in Room 6, number 4 written in Room 2. The code is 96_2.

Where is number 3 written??

What room can you not see inside of? (Solution follows)

Office Space - Key Cabinet

There is something on one of the paintings.

The symbols in that diagram relate to the key cabinet spaces.

What do the symbols mean??

Look at the keyboard on the desk next to the painting (or perhaps your own PC keyboard for a hint)

! = 1 @ = 2 # = 3 $ = 4

The numbers relate to the combination lock position, based on the position of the key compartments in the cabinet. (Solution follows)

Office Space - Button Sequence

What all objects can you interact with in the room??

You can move a cardboard box that is blocking the whiteboard.

You can slide the whiteboard.

What is on the other side of the whiteboard?? How do you see that?

You can get next to the boxes to see behind the board..

There is a maze...

What is written on the note on the mirror?

"reflection" and "maze"...

Position the whiteboard where you can see the maze through the mirror.

Enter the left / right sequence by solving the maze with left and right turns, while looking at it thru the mirror. (Solution follows)

The code to the keypad is in a message on one of the computers.

Did you read the message on the computer correctly? Check again...

In the lobby, to find the key to the exit, see the green handprint. Have you seen green paint anywhere?

If you haven't opened the locked key cabinent, you should do so now.

Go to Room 10. The exit key is hidden in there.

It is under one of the paint buckets.


Hallway 3

Look above the doors... Look closely.

Something is incorrect. Correct it.

Towards the middle of the hall is Room 7565. It should be 7655. You can rearrange those numbers.


Room ????

Is there anything in this room 7655? On the walls? Look closely...

X marks the spot.

Look closer at it... even closer....


The Backrooms

Find the exit. It is a small maze.

From where you enter, the exit is towards the back right.

Guess the keypad code. It is 4 digits.

It is 1234.

Don't guess the second keypad code... Look at the note closer...

The code is 0651


The End

Press the correct button to complete the simulation. You don't need a hint for that, you know what it is...
