My Moria map hosts three exciting challenges, offering a chance to gain some strategic perks. Although they're not mandatory for map completion, they provide a beneficial edge and some enjoyable gameplay variation.

These challenges are initiated by interacting with one of three glowing runes dispersed throughout the map. After completion, don't forget to return to the same rune to claim your well-deserved rewards.


The kill challenge is located within the mines. This is arguably the most straightforward task of the trio.

To activate it, interact with the corresponding rune, prompting the commencement of a three-tiered zombie extermination challenge: 15 Melee kills, 40 Headshots, and 10 Explosive kills.

Once you've achieved these totals, make your way back to the rune to claim your reward, which will upgrade the gun you currently wield with the Pack-a-Punch enhancement.


The Defending Challenge lies within the Seventh Hall. Upon interaction with the associated rune, you'll need to activate and defend three distinct glowing pillars, each crowned with a Dwarven head statue.

Stay within the pillar's radius, fending off the hordes until the timer runs out. Repeat this for each pillar to complete the challenge.

Then, return to the rune for your rewards: Double Tap 2.0 for each player and an additional 750 points for each successfully defended pillar.


Hidden within the 23rd Hall is the Token Challenge. Upon activating the corresponding rune, your mission is to scour the map for three tokens. They're inconspicuously placed, resembling small Beyblades affixed to walls or objects.

Once all three tokens are collected, head back to the rune to claim your reward, a valuable Quick Revive perk for every player and the staff of Eru.

Remember, although these challenges aren't required, they can transform a standard playthrough into a rewarding and strategic experience. Good luck, and happy hunting!
