- Jewel, the unique recruit now owns the Smuggler's Bar in vanilla, now named "The Punchy Gar" overall intent is to have the bar be a place the player can travel to and move world-states without being directly involved. To allow for playthroughs where you play as a party uninterested in the affairs outside of your scope.

- The Old Frontlines has been renamed to "Shek Fortress" and is occupied at the game's start. Will be destroyed either through the destruction of the kingdom or on the death of Emperor Anzai.
- Shek Ruins have been restored to be a functional Shek Settlement in the desert.
- Berserker Village to be reworked into a second Shek Settlement / Village.

- Mourn has been restored to Empire Control and functions as the third capital of the empire, along with Heng and Heft as indicated in development blogs.
- New Noble Lord Kurusaga, mentioned in Luquin's story. Rules over the city of Bast and the surrounding region. His death will leave the town in ruins. Holy Nation patrols do not spawn in Bast while he is alive and free.
- New Noble Lady Tanaka, ruler of Clownsteady and historic survivor of the Red Rebellion.
- Southern UC towns begin the game malnourished and will remain so until the Red Rebellion has been ended. Making travelling in the south require decent provisions.
- A few new generic villages in The Hook to bring more life to the otherwise, mostly empty Region.

- It is impossible for fleshies to obtain 100% resistance to all risks in the Deadlands, Skeletons therefore are your best bet when it comes to reaching the city and the Scraphouse.
- More broken machines to be in the deadlands to make it even more dangerous to travel through.
- Scraphouse to recieve a full interior overhaul.
- Possible "Hunger" mechanics, implementing the defunct items of vanilla as skeleton only food items which they "eat" to repair themselves after putting their millennia old bodies through hell saving your squad.
- New Unique recruit planned to loiter in The Punchy Gar (Smuggler's Bar) will fill characters in on the new hazards of the deadlands and potentially join your squad.
- Both factions to exist as a single entity led by Luquin (unique recruit found in Tengu's Vault)
- Waystation in the Grey Desert to be re-fitted into the Cloud Ninja Base
- When Luquin is killed / captured the Cloud Ninja base overrides into a waystation and the Sand Ninjas break off and inhabit the Cactus den.
