Welcome to my point and click harry potter themed escape room. This little map does not use the Arrow keys nor the W.A.S.D keys. So if your concerned because you cannot move. Don't be. It is intentional.


Lets begin our adventure together on 4 Privet Drive: The Cupboard Under The Stairs

Unlocking your briefcase.

If you spend some time looking around the room you will come across a picture of the Hogwarts express. Which has a number on it. I wonder what it will do?

Unlocking your wand

Naturally the first step is to unlock your wand from the cabinet on the floor to your right. The key however is located behind Uncle Dursleys lock. You will see on the wall a zoomable with a few oddly said things. Can you decipher the code from these? From top down the code is 9034. Take the key and insert it into the lock for the wand on the bottom right. What all can your wand do?

Opening the overhead cabinet 6 number lock.

Using your wand you should place the wand onto the towel on the wall to move it over to the right. You should see some letters to number conversions. The real question is where do you get these numbers from. Upon further investigation you come across a post card from Hermione that stats the daily prophet should reveal something with the wave of a wand. Look behind you at the daily prophet on the door. Place your wand and you will see the bottom riddle section changes... It adds wands instead of the letters. What letters do the wants point to? R-E-P-A-R-O. Converted this becomes the codes lock of 745074. Inside this cabinet you will see a few things you will need. So study them carefully.

The clock puzzle...

So if you searched the room you should have found a boarding ticket. It should have your departure time listed on it. But on the back it asks you to arrive 15 minutes earlier if you are bringing a pet. Seeing as how your bringing your owl the time to set on the clock should be 11:45. The ring should appear for you to pickup and you can now place it into the briefcase.

The enchanted chest puzzle box.

In order to complete this puzzle box you need to have opened the cabinet above you to the right. If you have not done so then go do that now!

Once you can open the black cabinet drawers you will see a note that has different wand flicks on it. These wand flick positions should help you unlock the chest by matching the correct symbol to the flick pattern. Once all locks are done you will see the chest open and inside should be your cloak of invisibility. Place it inside the suit case!

Your student id should be laying around the room somewhere. This should be placed into the suitcase as well.

Last but certainly not least you should be able to place your wand inside the suitcase and you should have an orb come up from the case allowing you to COMPLETE the map. I hope you enjoyed this adventure.
