Getting CHA to work on Steam Deck
I was trying to get the mod to work on my steam deck but had no Luck so far. I tried

- Reinstalling the mod
- Verifying the game files
- Reinstalling the game
- Adding other mods
- Starting the game in Desktop mode

Nothing really made a difference, so at this point I think that it's probably an issue with Steam OS itself. On my Windows Laptop it works fine, I also checked the file system, everything seems to be in order, the mod is there, halo 1 single & multiplayer is downloaded and the game has been started with anti cheat off. So I don't know what else could cause it.

Maybe someone else had this issue bevore or has other ideas to get it to work. I couldn't find much about it on the internet.

Ok, I got it to work. I have no idea why, but when I started the game *with* anti cheat enabled, the mod showed up. I expect this to be a bug, so maybe this will be fixed in the future. I have read online that apparently the options for anti cheat enabled and disabled had their functionality switched. So for now, if anyone else has this issue, try to play the game with anti cheat enabled, maybe it will work for you as well.

Hey I’m having the same problem except my mod won’t even be recognized. I hit subscribe and played with the anti cheat option (that disables anti cheat) and I go to the campaign and it’s still only OG halo 1

Hi, sorry for the late answer, I don't really get steam notifications.
If the issue still persists, did you try both options, not just with anti cheat disabled but also with it being enabled? The latter is what worked for me in the end.
