Putt-raria
Putt-raria is a decent golf map, made by some pretty prolific Terraria creators. However, being released so close after the release of 1.4 makes the map rather simple.
That is, apart from the hole in hell, which is a huge difficulty spike. The boots given in that section are not Lava Waders, the boot that is actually useful in the section either.
The building and aesthetics are absolutely gorgeous, and the secrets from hidden cups, to chests with loot inside, to a collection of gems sprinkled throughout make it fun and rewarding to explore.
The optional tutorial is a nice introduction to golfing in Terraria, also.

The map falls short in some of it's execution, but boy is Khaios' building beautiful.

Terra-golf
Terra-golf is a step-up from Putt-raria in my opinion. The holes are a lot harder, but they feel rewarding to beat, and nothing feels too troll-y.
The map is a full 18-holes, as with actual golf, so it is a lot longer than many other golf maps also, which often opt for 9-or-fewer holes.
The map is set up to follow the sequence of a Terraria playthrough, starting in the empty forest, and ending with the defeat of the moon-lord.
The map creator encourages scouting the course, and designs the courses with that in mind.
The architecture is good, though not quite to Putt-raria's standard.

Terra-golf is awesome, and a fun challenge. Play it.

Terra Labs

Terra Labs is a well-made single-player puzzle map.
It is a well-scripted, well made little portal-gun puzzle map, of which there are far too few on the workshop.
The Cave Johnson-like dialogue is entertaining, and the puzzles are neat.

Sadly, Terra Labs is far too short. The chambers only take a few minutes to beat overall, and it left me desperate for more maps like this, of which I'm mostly yet to find. There are a few other portal gun maps I'm yet to try out though, and I hope they help satisfy my urge.
The creator seems to be a bit under-confident about their map, sadly, and I doubt we'll ever see this expended upon.
I would love to see this map and potentially universe (remember, that announcer I mentioned) worked further, though.
If the developer finds this; I really like your map. Thank you for sharing your puzzles

Dungeon Depths Escape Room
Dungeon Depths is a really good proof-of-concept.
It does a lot of interesting things, like using the (basically required) texture pack to tell you what not to craft, making use of the magic mirror in the ending, the scattering of resources to be used as glorified keys (the Rainbow Rod ingredients, the Large Gem ingredients, etc), and has some non-egregious backtracking.
The map is definitely worth playing, but there are a few things that irritated me; the snowball, that appeared in my ammo slots silently that was required to progress, the first switch being dumb, the potential softlock if you ♥♥♥♥ up in the obsidian skin room, the random gap in the bridge in the hell-switch puzzle and the trapped chest that kills you for no reason.
The map does rely on a few key styles of puzzle to make it longer, and it is nonetheless still short, to the point where, when I finished, I was more surprised that there wasn't more, than I felt accomplished.
I think some of it's puzzles could be used as great inspiration for more, or the map could be lengthened, to make the experience nicer, but it definitely deserves a spot on this list nonetheless.
