engines don't work for me

How does the Piston controller actually work?

i've been trying to figure out that piston controller but i can't seem to find anything to work...
Connected it to a piston, made some settings in it, gave it an input and nothing happens...

Yeah it seems it ain't working unless you put one of the MJM seats on
