On the Road to 0.4
Good Evening, as many will have noticed we are still in Alpha and as long as there is the "0" infront of the "." pls be aware there will be bugs, missing localization and a lot polishing issues. So with no further wait, I would like to inform you that we are currently hard at work for the next minor Update aka 0.3.1. "The Vojd, a few Emperors and a Pyramid scheme". It will certainly contain the ability to build stuff in your little market AIs and subject AIs, discouraging direct player micromanagement via annexation. It will also include the vojd, the ausgleich, a relatively big south america expansion, a fix for ethopia (hopefully), three more epidemics a nerfhammer for the midgame hospitals and probably a bit of a rework in Asia. We will probably deploy it in a few weeks when everything that had been conceptionalized has been brought in to form of code. Oh an concerning 1.4 and 1.5 compability, we will ensure it when we know how the final form of the basegame patch is. ;-)

We are currently preparing a Patch to launch on Sunday containing a few dozen Bugfixes, Balancing Issues, GUI Changes, Chapter 2 of the Dualism "The Concert of Europe" (Baseline), the Austrian "Ausgleich" (Baseline) and the National Exhibition (Testpurposes without JEs and Expeditions). Patchversion will bei 0.3.1.5. "Pestcontrol in the Opera".

Good evening everyone, a small update:

Firstly we are momentarly (me and our gui - magician) working on bringing or mod into 1.5 compability (currently we are ignoring our garrisons not functioning until paradox fixed the military system).

Most time consuming is the rewriting of code used for world generation aka history and map_data files as well as the GUI (Themes everyone). This eats into the time the most but we want to ensure little to no error log reports and crashes, (dont talk about vars spamming errorlog they are not there) aiming to get a stable and fun experience not only for SP but also for MP. Current most OP - Nation is Switzerland (meant to be played by an admin).

Concerning the "basic" System to get your subjects to build the stuff you want them to built it is only there to bridge the time until either paradox implements something like this in base game or we find the time to built a nice sophisticated menu and functionality outside the decision/event system we have now for this. Oh and the KI tends to spam the decisions.

So what are we planing todo until 1.5 Launches and we push a big Mod - Update:

1. Europe:
- We will certainly expand content for european nations we imagine will exist for more then 10 years, we will for the moment not develop specific content for countries like Saxony or Belgium, as our Lore dictates that they are mere pawns
- The Midgame Alliances will get more numerous as France and Italy should be able to also found some
- Mostly we will deepen existing content giving players more routes to tread and optional goals to achieve and maybe Scandinavia will see some love ;-)
- Greece will receive a unique set of Laws after Founding Byzantium....because a certain modder just loves his Purple Phoenix....Greece is not OP ;-)

2. Africa:
- Ethopia, Egypt, South Africa and Sokoto are the nations we will focus on and expand

3. Asia:
- Japan will be further revamped
- China will be reworked and expanded
- South-East-Asias Overhaul will be further expanded
- India will receive a major overhaul
- Persia will probably expanded
- Australia und DIC will gaine notable deepnes in their existing content

4. America:
- El Presidente will take reigns in Cuba
- Brazil and Argentina will be further polished
- Gran Columbia will receive content
- Mexiko, USA and Canda might see some love

5. Generic:
- There will be more epidemics
- There will be a way for players experiencing a epidemic to faster reach hospitaltech
- The Catchup Mechanic for ERA 2 and ERA 3 Tech will be expanded upon
- Airports will certainly have an effect on local market acces in your nation...
- Financial Districts will also have an effect on local prices.....
- There will be a Internationale.....Steht auf verdammte dieser Erde....and you will be able to found your communist utopia...

A small update, we have decided to add a few companies with the 1.5 compability update mostly they focus on making companies for the buildings we introduce but there will be certain companies tied to regions culture and research to expand on the base game ones.

Long time but a few things to report, first of all we are now, that the final beta is available, hard at work to complete as much things we want to until the 1.5 Vanilla release. Due to them changing around a lot we are again running through all our code to fix inconsistencies ;-)

We are planing on releasing the Mod-Update shortly after 1.5 has been implemented, we believe we will need to rework stuff when 1.5 comes out ;-)

Small heads up, we are on the end stretch for the final stretch for the 0.3.6 Update, due to massive changes in the base game code we had to rework a lot of our systems. For Example we are proud to have implemented forts that actually work as such and give the defender an edge when defending in provinces with an active fort. To double down on the whole defensive army thing we brought in a 4th category of troops we currently call garrison divisions aka armys with a lot of defense you unlock by going down the industry tree, but those troops are really bad in terms of recovery of losses so they will break eventually under the pressure of proffesional troops oh and we implemted a few mobilization laws to ty in with medicines and nation specific stuff....Prussian Space Marines are a Thing currently in the Dev Build ;-)

I am happy to announce we will patch the Mod around the 30th of November to make it 1.5 compatible. Why so long after the vanilla patch you ask? We have no access to the 1.5 launch build and therefore will need a bit of time to fix any issues coming with the patch and to further test the balance for MP sessions.

Shorts headsup...currently the german localization is still somewhat broken and a few events...looking at german federation event...proc to early...as sweden was the first JE project for or GUI modder we encountered some issues...with the patch in around 3 days we will hopefully fix most of the issued found in live version...we are sorry but as we will probably stay in alpha until we reach 0.5 version count pls bare with us ;-)

Small headsup, for now content development mostly circulates around europe, hannover, ukraine, poland, sweden, greece and generics for all europeans. The secondary focal points are the americas. But at least all Buildings we had in the concept have been integrated. Same goes for Military Units. Please understand that mainting over 100 JEs and over 1000 Events is hard due to paradox tendencies to change core syntax and naming conventions around every other update.

Good evening, next update will be at the end of January, as their is currently a Streamer recording a Lets Play with Spain. We will use the time to rework Russia and expand the Ukrainian Content. Russia will have the ability to become a somewhat less "evil" Nation if choosing the right path under player agency. Please keep in Mind that Russia is the big bad guy that in a normal playthrough will become the VOJD and do bad things. As we found that players would love to redeem Russia I am currently working on a way out of this a bit to sreamlined concept of Russia beeing evil. Due to the same reasons the Ukrainian Content will be opened up a bit, Ukraine will get incentives to never expand beyond its starting borders in Europe. Poland will get a new JE when it formed the PLC that will moderate the mid to lategame gooing over problems arising from beeing a multicultural nation...yes Autstria Hungary vibes......

Good Day, next small info dump. Russia and Ukraine Content are mostly complete and will enter intensive debugging together with a long list of old bugs and thinks occuring due to code rot. Furthermore we are currently at work implementing a stockpiles system, something for GPs and Nations with large conscript armies (USA - Arsenal of Democracy possible confirmed) and a great war mechanic (late game). Oh and we have a lot of small stuff added that we forgot to note down, someone did character interactions I just recently discovered and will certainly add to the changelog. We will of course fix the problems a few nations have with the new colonial mechanic, the american and iberians will now no longer start with a negative capacity for the first decade, enabling them to play a part in the colonial game. We are further rebalancing the military side of things and hoping to improve gameplay, currently we are considering making cavalry not count towards the 50% ratio for example. On the other hand secret police will now enable you to remove anyone you don´t like from the game forever as long as he is in your country. Patch is planned for End of January early February Patch Name "All the Russias, the Dawn of Logistics and a Great War"

Short Update: We are currently working on making the Mod 1.6 compatibel, and slacked a little in the 0.4 Development due to Real life work and stuff. We are hopeful we will bring the 0.4 Patch to you at the End of May we will now branch off our development for 0.4 after we completed the compabibility patch for 1.6 Base Game
