return jump boost when regular walking (aka just W, nothng else) for accurate hl2 parity. (simple comparison is just to launch hl2, walk forward while spamming space, maybe even have cl_showpos 1 set so you can see the velocity, then test gmod with this mod installed)

I already added boost when u keep jumping. But old hl2 had that new one is really messed up.

boost when you keep jumping??? no, the boost from hl2 boosts you off the first jump, then you go back to regular walking speed (190) when you land

if u know the old classic hl2 data about it how much you jump when u just walk forward
then it would be nice. Becuz new version is not the same movement.
I know this kinda strays from the original idea, But I think it would be cool if you were able to set custom speeds. The thing that peeked my interest is the prop climb, but I personally don't like the default move speed settings.

Hmm ye there is an issue if u do it too often ur character accidentally gets high velocity up and u cant pick the prop anymore and u fall down. Its hard to fix becuz of multiplayer the game acts differently. I can solve this problem for you. But I need to add a custom settings option for sandbox and cvars so anybody can modify the boost. But I dont wanna change thr basic movement speed. Im thinking about checking up velocity so u cant get that high speed.
