Same problem here. I've tried a lot of different Proton flavours/versions (vanilla default/experimental, EggRoll, etc), game is freezing during the first loading screen.

I have got it to work on my Linux rig by using use.bottles and putting .net frameworks 4.7.2. I can't guarantee it will work. I did this with a GoG copy and I am not sure if I got to work in Steam. I can't remember. I would advise adding Bannerlord to Steam again to make a separate prefix with separate saves and runners. Many mods that don't work seem to need .net frameworks 4.7.2.

Correction, I just tried it on the latest version of Sika but instead its .net frameworks 4.6.2. and the best option is a separate prefix using the launcher.native.exe as the launcher. Just go into Steam and add a non-steam game adding/using launcher.native.exe. You can try the taleworld.mountandblade.exe but it doesn't work for me. I did with my GoG copy by just copying Sika from my Steam directory so that I don't ruin my installation. Some mods require .net frameworks to work and it seems like .net frameworks 4.6.2. is the best version of it for mods like Sika. Installing this dependency is lengthy and Sika's character creation still has long loading times but it does the same on Windows (I have it on Windows too). It took many hours of tinkering to figure this out. Remember either way if it works Sika has long loading screens during character creation and right after it. It even has long loads when loading a save even in Windows. And don't forget that right now Sika is very buggy so expect them. A sticky should mention this requirement for Linux users if it works for most of us.

Thank you, The Man Insane, I managed to make him work.
For Steam users, you should install the .net Frameworks 4.7.2 in a dedicated folder or in your default wine :

```bash
winetricks -q dotnet462
```
and run
```bash
proton $PATH_TO_YOUR_STEAM_LIBRARY/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Mount & Blade II Bannerlord/bin/Win64_Shipping_Client
```
I spend some times on the mod and it's a little buggy but I think it's the current state of the mod, not related to Proton.

Yeah, the mod has buggy dialogue screens.

It seems like its broken again so now it doesn't work in Linux any more. This mod has no Linux support.

I'm actually in 1.0.3 and this mod is should be used on 1.0.2. Don't know if it's the same problem because it's stay in the loop during the first loading screen.

I'll wait until the next Silka mod version to spend some time to make it work with Proton.
