l4d1 style leg settings?
does anyone know any settings to make the legs act like l4d1? for example in l4d1 when you jump with your camera slightly down you can see your foot and a little of your leg, this is not the case here. is this a setting change or a animation thing?

It's a limitation of the system this mod uses.
The way the legs tilt back the more you look away from your feet prevents you from seeing your leg move as you jump.
Because of how client-side prediction works, trying to fix this tilting can't be done without your legs disconnecting very visibly for a brief moment if you look down too fast.

oh ok, thanks for your info!

Iirc L4D1 only had one animation for jumping in first person. Is that what you're referring to?

That, I'm afraid, is impossible at the moment. Unless a method is done that "retains" the rotation of the 2nd worldmodel when you tilt the camera up and down, it'll only be visible if you're mostly looking downwards. There's no way to recreate how L4D1's legs work except, well, using the exact same code the game used. I really hope I'm proven wrong.

yeah but hopefully someday it can be made, but thanks for the info!
yeah source engine is S H I T, valve tried to stop this from happening on making it so you can make a perfect legs model, well you can see how well they did since there is so many restrictions to this legs script

True but I`ll take a slight limitation with the legs over being a floating pair of arms anytime. It shocks me that some modern FPS games still do this BS 😆

Blaming the whole engine responsible for a revolutionary movement in the gaming scene over... legs? Be serious.

You might be wrong, if you look at Tom Clancy's Rainbow Sic Vegas 1 and 2, both had leg views, even COD 1 in 2003 had them in FPS mode
I know a way guys, I made this idea, here try out these settings for the legs
LegsOffsetZ = -20.00
LegsOffsetX = -4.00
LegsRotationPitch = -85.00
(Fixed) - all arm clipping bugs fixed ;) idea method BY ME :D
LegsOffsetZ = -23.00
LegsOffsetX = -8.00
LegsRotationPitch = -85.00

l4d2 programming of modding has a lot of restrictions on source engine like l4d2 was weirdly programmed on source engine
