~Walkthrough~
This is the walkthrough for Noir in NYC:

LEFT CHEST:

Start going into the murdered persons apartment. Look at the pile of papers on the desk and look for "MR. bOURBON lESSINGS". If you press the stack of papers it flips it around. Look at the lowercase letters to find the code is 199. Use it on the briefcase under the bed. You get a music sheet and a stone key. Use the stone key on the left chest.

MIDDLE CHEST:

Start by opening up the center door in the desk. You will see a sarcophagus facing to the right. Now go to the left door. You will see in the window of the door a faint backwards code. 635. You will see a jackal statue facing diagonally towards you to the left. Now the right most door. Check the time on the clock. 10:25. You will see another jackal statue facing away from you. Go into the directors apartment and use a heavy object like the ax on the wall to smash the display cases open. Turn the statues according to the ones in the desk. The middle chest will open.

RIGHT CHEST:

This one is the most involved. Start by finding all 4 pieces of script hidden around. Behind a plant in the hallway, in the desk drawer in the vacant office space, in the drawer of the desk in the murdered persons apartment and behind the pillow in the directors apartment. One of them will say at the bottom "Please put this scene back in the right order before the final draft. - Mr. GLOBE" Read the story on the script and piece together the story. Then look at the capitalized words on each of the pages. Then go to the globe in the center of the room, (Mr. GLOBE), and turn the globe in order of the scene to each of the items. Grandfather clock (in room), Shoes (by bed), Ink bottle (in vacant office box), Heart (on toy in murdered persons apartment). Then a chest will fall down from the fireplace. Now you will need to go into the vacant office space and look in one of the boxes. There will be a diorama of the table in the directors office. Move the chairs in the apartment to match the chairs in the diorama. The painting above the fireplace will open up showing a bunch of random dots. Go into the murdered persons apartment and look at the bookshelf. Look at the empty space between the books on the marked shelf. 7177. Put it into the lock in the cabinet near by. Pull lever to open painting above fireplace. More random dots. Grab the dots off the fireplace and put the dots on the other painting to show 4 numbers going from top to bottom, 2169. Put that into the fireplace chest. It will give you a desk key. Open up the desk with the key and find a lever, pull it. It will open the box on the desk. Push the button to turn off the billboard lights. Look at billboard. Recreate the code shown on the billboard on the pipe valves in the murdered persons apartment. If you need a better view of some symbols, change rooms and look out a different window. Code is Star valve, 3rd valve, 2nd valve, 5th valve, 7th valve, 4th valve, 6th valve. The pipes will turn on. Follow the pipes in the ceiling to the vacant office space. Move the boxes off the cabinets and open the briefcase on the wall. Look into the janitors closet through the gap in the wall to see a spotlight on a box of books all at different levels. Go to the directors apartment and find a similar box of books with numbers at all the heights. match the numbers with the book levels and put in the code into the wall. 2363146. Cabinets will open to go through. Walk to now full tank in the tank room and grab the key. Put it in the right chest in the directors apartment.

PAINTING:

Using the 3 statues from the 3 chests, put them on the shelf in the directors office. The shelf will move to the side revealing a secret room with the painting and some vases behind bars. Go back to the apartment and look at the shelf to see 5 different pots in order. Go back to the painting room and count the amount of those vases behind the bars and put in the code in the order that it says on the shelf. 42231. The bars will open and you can grab the painting.

PIANO PUZZLE:

You will need 4 music sheets for this. One is in the first briefcase under the bed, another is behind the small clock in the desk, another is in the chest in the liquor cabinet. To get that one you must go to the janitors closet to see 9 spray paint cans in a 3x3 square. Matcht he bottles and glasses with white and black on the gold circles to open the chest up. (left to right top row going down) bbw, wwb, bbw. Last music sheet is in the briefcase in the vacant office. Go back to the janitors closet and grab the note on the bucket. Add up the fill lines on the empty tanks, (longer lines) and find exactly 1 valve on each shape tube that adds up to 22, (fill count number). The only possible solution to this is triangle 11, circle 5 and square 6. Put those into the paintings with the shapes in the vacant office to get the music sheet. Each sheet of music has a number on the bottom. Each music sheet also has letters dotted in the title. Play the melody in order (be careful of uppercase vs lowercase) and the piano will open revealing a gun.

ALL EVIDENCE:

1. Walk over the dead body mark to trigger the marker outline
2. Walk near the missing painting to trigger the marker outline
3. Walk over the footprints in the tank room to trigger the marker outline
4. Grab the painting to trigger the marker outline
5. Press the revolver to trigger the marker outline.

After all that head back to the office and close the case!

Why is the first code 119 and not 199? There are two lowercase Bs, but only one lowercase L so I don't understand..

so uhhh anychance someone wants to cheat us the piano sheet music one... one of the sheets fell through the floor
So dont drop the piano music below piano it is still grabable under rug it just slides under it

Based on my playthrough, I believe that the easter egg "Let Me Outtttttttttttttttttttt" is unlocked for trying to leave the building without solving the case, while the last easter egg "Restored" is for putting the stolen painting back where it came from (contaminating the evidence in the process). What were the other Easter eggs that I didn't come across, Jailbird, Red Herring, and As The Melody Burns?

The axe only smashes the middle case open for me. It gets stuck in the other two cases.

Jailbird is you have to lock urself into the jail cell in the end and As the melody burns you have to throw the music sheets into the fire

For Red Herring, there is a literal red fish in the mop bucket in the Janitors Closet

Wine bottle cant snap to the top middle of the puzzle so we cant get the last music sheet
i is disappointed :(
7717 never appeared on the bookshelf either :( :(

Hey there! The bottle definitely snaps to all the slots and the code from the bookshelf is not 7717 it is 7177! Hope that helped.
