When you hovered over the options did it give you a tool tip saying what would happen? There is currently a bug where there are two versions of the event right now, causing a phantom event that does nothing. It will keep popping up until the real event spawns then it will stop. This happens because I had to rename the event file itself or else the game would just ignore the event file and use Third Odyssey's.

I'm thinking of just moving the convert option onto the Hellenic Reformation event instead because that's triggered only.

Actually the event fired a bunch of times and after third time it actually allowed me to change the religion hence i deleted my prior report. But a new issue came up. After reloading a save you lose the bonuses given by ancestors. The ancestors still show up but give no bonuses

Just loaded up my save and that is true for my first ancestor pick but for my second (which I picked a while after the first) the modifier is showing up fine. I think the first rulers of elysia might have a custom ruler personality that comes from the main mod itself.

Oh never-mind just looked it up there seems to be a bug with EU4 itself. Rulers who are not the same religion as the religion that has the ancestors mechanic don't seem to register correctly causing the modifiers to disappear. I would recommend reloading to before you chose those ancestors. I will add a warning to the mod description.

i'm not sure if its a issue with this mod or Third Odyssey: Extra but the event to build the temple of the marble emperors that i need to build for one of my missions isn't happening while i'm following imperial Apotheosis.

Yes that is most likely this mods fault probably missed that event and didn't edit it to spawn for the apotheosian religion Unfortunately I won't be avaliable to update the mod for a little bit.

New update should have fixed the problem. When you can check to see if it did, make sure you start with a save before you took the abandon heritage decision.

As of my knowledge:
The deification of emperors and the expanding the pantheon event does popup but sometime it doesn't give the effect the first time. Reloading it will help. Also the deification of emperors give 3 option when first receiving it with no effect but reloading give 4 option which give effect.

That is a known bug that is caused by the event file holding those events being named differently then it is named in the Third Odyssey files. This is necessary because if it is named the same as the Third Odyssey files the game ignores my edited version of the event completely locking you out of obtaining the religion.

the mod "blocks" the mission "The Old Gods" from being done because the Exarchate won't convert due to the syncretic fate and the mission wants the provinces to be converted to the main religion.

eg: The Exarchate "Africa" follows the imperial apotheosis but accepts Sunni as a syncretic faith and therefore won't convert its provinces (there's no reason to).

I don't know if this is a bug or intentional but temple of athena is not upgradable when you change to imperial apotheosis. (Pretty sure it was intentional)

Temple of Athena? is that a Third Odyssey monument or one of the monuments added by the more monuments submod?
