Whats the difference between Logic CPUs & Block CPUs
Logic CPUs
  • A Logic CPU is a creation made inside the game using some kind of logic gates and it is made by someone who KNOWS how the CPU works and knows all the kinks and quirks of it.

  • A Logic CPU is made by someone from the ground up, they had to place it block by block and connect each and every logic gate to the other and they also had to debug it, all of this means it takes a LOT more effort than Block CPUs.
  • bonus point for Logic CPUs as they look cooler when they're flickering
Block CPUs
  • A Block CPU is quite literally straight up using your real life CPU to run a basic script that its sole purpose is to simulate a CPU ingame, its NOT the logic gates that are doing the work and simulating the CPU but rather a piece of script, unlike Logic CPUs.

  • A Block CPU's maker doesnt essentially need to fully know and understand how a CPU works unlike a Logic uilt CPU's maker. also they dont have to go through placing it block by block from the ground up nor have to connect everything together nor have to debug it as much.
Conclusion
  • With all what was said, its obvious Logic CPUs take a lot more effort, sure Block CPUs are faster but.. are they really even a CPU or just a script with the sole purpose of simulating a CPU?
