try deleting the "appmanifest_244450" file in the steamapps folder then deleting the "appworkshop_244450" in the workshop folder that is in the steamapps folder, and go to the content folder that's in workshop folder and delete the "244450" folder, then open steam and go to library you'll see install button for men of war assault squad 2, click install and choose the location that you've installed the game in, it'll detect installed files automatically and verify them, after that the game should work
