I did a bit of a dive into the map so you don't have to. TLDR: The map is NOT malware, but it is very much not optimized. That is FACT and the rest of this is HEARSAY I've collected from the mod community-- This map has been in development for several years and this is not an "official" release. Supposedly, the early access to the map is on the mod-dev's patreon and this is a rip from there. You will notice a small number of very vocal users claiming this map will damage your rig or flaming the unofficial release. I have been unable to discern if they are patrons, accounts owned by the real mod-dev, or if they really do have a C64 that burst into flames upon boot. Honestly, it does not matter. I am indifferent to the morality of someone releasing an unofficial map for a game the mod-dev is monetizing via a very legally gray area. The map works, it is colorful, and has a decent flow. It's up to you if you want to play it.
