Difficulty Discussion
Please post here if you feel like there are areas / parts / aspects of the map that are too Easy, Difficult, Boring, Tedious, Cryptic, etc...

Currently Thinking of changing the soulboxes to spinning "Foxhound" logos so the frogs can be dedicated shoot EE assets.
Considering adding faint X's indicating the areas where "C4" wall triggers are in B2.

i think the faint X's or some indicator for the c4s would be nice, saves running against a wall trying to find the spot, and i like the idea of the dedicated soul boxes depending on what they do, i think maybe having a filled soul box give you an extra perk slot rather than a random perk would be nice as it would allow people to make the builds they want still while also giving a reward if you could

Difficulty change in Version 2.1
With update 2.1 a difficulty selector has been quickly coded into the map and mostly only affects boss fights/zombies.

Difficulty can be changed during the first 60 seconds using the console near spawn.

These are the current settings and they may need heavily balanced. Feel free to give your thoughts.

Liquid Easy
-Tank Hangar Lockdown [Ocelot]
  • 1 Brutus Spawn with Low Health at middle of Lockdown
-Canyon / Tank Boss
  • Tank Boss with slightly reduced Health
  • Tank Aims, Reloads, Fires a half second slower
  • Reward: Perkaholic
-Lab Lockdown [Greyfox]
  • 1 Brutus Spawn with Normal Health
-Psycho Mantis
  • Normal Health + Receives Normal Damage
  • Max Ammo every 60 Seconds
  • Reward: Perkaholic + 10,000 Points

Solid Snake Normal
-Tank Hangar Lockdown [Ocelot]
  • 5 total Brutus Spawn with Normal Health [~30 Second Rate]
-Canyon / Tank Boss
  • Tank Boss with Normal Health
  • Tank Reloads, Aims, Fires at normal speed

Note: Health for bosses and some stats such as Tank reload/aim/fire speed are also affected by a number of players but not as drastic as the difficulty setting.

I think the guns should be toned down a slight bit damage wise, they all feel fantastic but I was shredding zombies with wall weapons at round 30+

tune up some guns damage against the tank. I was using the papd m1 nade launcher or whatever and literally a full 24 rounds did a total of like 2k damage. however the special scout gun (its the one that loads in the top, i forgot what it was called too) does 300 dmg per shot with 45 rounds in that one mag, making very very quick work of the boss. I do have to agree with the dude above me tho in the way that guns shred zombies unless they're fast firing point guns. ex. that scout i just mentioned was one shotting zombies non papd at round 20+.

I don't think the tank health should be as high as it is on Boss Extreme. The tank fight is not hard. I literally never got hit by a tank shot and just trained the zombies into a huge horde and shot the tank for longer than I would like. I am talking 10+ minutes. More health doesn't make it harder just more tedious and boring.
