However, by default a sample is taken every in-game change of month. This means that with 1/4 date progression, the samples will be taken too far apart for LineManager to appear useful - thus, a setting exist to "Use OS time based sampling" instead.
With this setting enabled, a sample will be taken every 60 seconds (at normal game speed), every 30 seconds (at double game speed), or every 15 seconds (at 4x game speed). This is roughly the same sampling rate you'd get with normal date progression (a month passes apx. every 60 seconds at normal game speed and date progression).
In summary, enable: "Use OS time based sampling". Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
