Possible Stupid Little Questions That Float in the Human Mind
I might as well post what is needed for this kind of large collection. A semi-useful Q&A! :lunar2019piginablanket:

(This will be updated on various times as needed.)

Why is the download so slow?! I have like something-something mb per second!
The reason is mainly due to it literally downloading each file individually before going to the next one. This applies to all kinds of workshop files for every game, so if you download this, it's definitely going to take awhile.

A really cool update came out for a mod, but it hasn't affected it yet. How do I get it?!
The only way to get the update is to either get wait for Steam to update the mod at a random time or redownload the mod. It won't affect the positions as long as you haven't opened the game before redownloading it.

Why are some spots out of order sometimes as you said in the beginning?
It could mean various things:
  • You didn't download any of the unlisted mods manually. They do not download from subscribing from all.
  • A mod could of been deleted by the mod author randomly, and I would need to update it once more to fix it.
  • I probably forgot to add it to the collection/my game to properly fix or add it, or that Steam messed with it after me adding it.

What's your target here? Are you just slapping everything in here for no reason or what?
Honestly, making a collection with this many characters is extremely, extremely time consuming, in-game or in the workshop. I didn't initially want to make it a workshop collection until I found the workshop folder in the local data. Because of this, it can easily port the positions for everything when it's replaced.

My target for this is to have it be the biggest collection of mods from Rivals that could be represented as "those-huge-fanmade-smash-bros-character-selections-from-2006" realized, with good to excellent content all while having an easy way to pack up everything nice and tidy.

Will you be adding Super Smash Land-based characters and stages to the collection?
No, I would like this to be Rivals-based only. SSL is very unique and should stay that way when playing the mods without any Rivals Mods.

And people are already making their SSL focused collections, so you could go to those if you want to.

What in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is that icon for the collection? Seriously.
It's an Easter Egg for Tomo. I ain't going to tell you how because I literally discovered this by accident. I can at least give you a hint, it involves the taunt.

What is the position format for buddies and stages? (From left and right.)
Buddies:
  1. Game Modes
  2. Special Buddies (Announcers or buddies that do effects that may-or-may-not change gameplay)
  3. Rivals of Aether
  4. Original Buddies
  5. Nintendo/Super Smash Bros.
  6. Pokemon
  7. Super Mario
  8. Sonic/Sega
  9. Kirby/H.A.L. Lab
  10. Various Games
  11. Indies
  12. Undertale/Deltarune
  13. Various Media

Stages:
  1. Modes (Boss Battles, Minigames, etc.)
  2. Stamina/Boss Mode-esc stages.
  3. Special Stages
  4. Super Smash Bros.
  5. Super Mario/Paper Mario (& Yoshi/Donkey Kong/Wario)
  6. Kirby/H.A.L. Lab
  7. Pokemon
  8. Nintendo Centered Games/Consoles (Zelda, Mother, Rhythm Heaven, etc.)
  9. Sonic/Sega
  10. Undertale/Deltarune
  11. Megaman
  12. Persona
  13. Various VG Stages (Subordered to specific series when needed)
  14. Original Creations/Various Media

A new character was added but I don't see them at the end of the category like everything else. Did you put them somewhere else?
Now, I sub-categorize characters based on creator for OCs, character variant for a specific character, and character for a series. (if the category is not based on one series.)

For example, say I added a mod from a guy named LittleJimmy, and he already had 3 mods made that I added to here. I would put the newest mod from him along with that group somewhere inside.

For OCs, I would make it so that there's a category for every creator, but it would not only be time consuming as to reposition them to where they are able to be created, but also be useless since not many of them have made more than 5+ characters. Maybe I could split it to two parts in case something happens, but I would have to see.

As of awhile ago, I managed to try and categorize all of the OC creators. Now whenever a new mod is added from them, they will be put next to them. If there's a creator that has made their first mod, I would put it at the end and add it on whenever they create new characters.
