Haha glad to hear that you've survived!
The trap right below the world tree is specifically designed so the boulder probably won't hit you unless you're standing right on top of the chest.
Consider it a... learning experience for new players :steammocking:

lol just spent half an hour in the underground desert looking for the pyramid and I looked at the world view you posted and it's not even in here

Oh yeah, the pyramid is on the other side of the Jungle, with a telltale entrance on the surface.
I didn't wanna put it too close to spawn so players wouldn't go at it unprepared :steamthumbsup:

The spiders are revealling all the traps because they're activating the pressure plates lol

Haha yeah, the pyramid will sometimes start snowballing on its own. You can use this to your advantage and force enemies into the dungeon's own traps!
It's a good idea to break enemy spawning statues as you go for sure though.
