Auto-replace missing North American Rail (NAR) tracks on game load
RON has the ability to auto-replace missing North Amercian Rail (NAR) tracks on game load, in the same manner as its ability to auto-replace missing Network Extensions 2 (NExt2) roads.

This functionality was developed when the NAR set was temporarily removed from the workshop; NAR has since been restored, but as the functionality was already developed, it's included in the 0.9.4 release of RON for those who may find it useful.

This option can be enabled in the mod's options panel,

There are two replacement options available:

Replacing with Railway 2 USA
You will need to subscribe to the following items:

Replacing with Vanilla/BloodyPenguin/BadPeanut
You will need to subscribe to the following items:

To perform the replacement:
  • UNSUBSCRIBE from NAR (RON will not auto-replace any NAR networks that are still subscribed and enabled)
  • SUBSCRIBE to the relevant replacements listed above
  • Load your game to the main menu (do NOT load your save yet)
  • If using the Extra Train Station Tracks mod, make sure it's enabled in the content manager
  • In the RON options panel, ensure that the option to 'Auto-replace missing North American Rails (NAR) tracks on load' is selected, along with the desired replacement option.
  • Load your save as normal.
  • When you next save your game, all NAR references will have been removed from your city.
