Marty Mcfly, ireland or scotland (the Mc thing on his surname). Perhaps he should introduce mostly civic ideas like rock music that boost realm popularity?

Otto von Bismarck in any of the central German Territories, to help towards uniting the German people under a single German culture rather than multiple cultures.

Constantine XI. Constantine was attempting to unify the Catholic and Orthodox Church before the Ottomans finally conquered the city. Maybe we can have Constantine make the Byzantine Empire into a catholic state.

Giuseppe Garibaldi in any Italian state, it would be like Otto von Bismarck (uniting all the German speaking territories) but instead of the uniting Germany he helps unite Italy

Sir Isaac Newton in England. This historical character would be focused on introducing new innovations to the English culture, and potentially introduce the Anglican religion earlier on.

I'd like to see some sci-fi characters introduce ideologies, religions and such in the game as well as technologies. Also for a character idea, Link from the Belisarius series - a time-travelling cyborg from the distant future who introduces gunpowder to the Malwa Empire.
