i would of thought it was already activated, your telling me i have to go in and flick all these switches myself ? i would of been fine with that if i had to disable them myself. but this is just confusing

I've found one problem in the mod. It's a purely visual bug, so it doesn't affect the game that much, but It's a bit of an eyesore. The "Recapture proles" Casus Belli icon in the war declaration screen appears as a pink square with 3 "ERROR" words on it. Again, It's a minor problem, but it really looks out of place. Other than that, the mod works flawlessly for me.

It seems like this mod is prone to creating colonies that are Neutrals if you have a mod that raises the natural limit on Civics. Love the idea, but would really like to see that fixed if possible!

One other bug I've found is that it's possible that, if you get an archaeology-based precursor (Zroni or Baol) for a colony to spawn on one of those planets, excavate the site, and just completely lock you out of the precursor chain because you can't complete it yourself now. I'm not sure if those planets get a special flag on them or anything but it'd be nice to find a way to keep that from happening... Don't like being robbed of my precursor relic/system. :c

Also, this is more a suggestion than anything: I'd like to see an option to limit where colonies can form, ie, distance-wise. It feels a bit strange having them show up on the complete other side of the galaxy... Perhaps a setting to limit how many jumps from your borders they're allowed to take. (Maybe they'll only warp across the map if you had Wormhole Stabilization or Gateways at the time of their departure. On that note, it might be cool to add a little integration with the Galactic Doorstep origin lol.)

@Imperial House. Im remaking the starting menu to help people choose default starts so that shouldnt happen anymore!
@ComradeOnion - Thanks ill check that out, i did whip up the CBs at the last minute so not suprised theres issues
@Martisia - Yeah I think ill need to remake create_country stuff to make them more compatible with new ethics and cicivcs mods. What i believe is happening is that some civics lock out ethics/auths, and if it selects such a civic it deletes ethics/auths which is annoying
Deletes some comments to cleanup thread, but worry not they're being addressed!

Not sure if it is a mod conflict, but after loading a save, my empire's flag changes to a random flag. All the AI flags stay the same. If you save again and reload it does not change a second time.

@Brant - Are you playing as a nation you made at gamestart, or playing as a rogue colony with the "I will go with them" option?
Brant-Flir Feb 17, 2021 @ 3:56am
Nation I made at game start. However, the flag I am using is a custom flag from a mod, and the flag it is replaced with is a general one, so I'm thinking it may be a mod conflict. The other mod-added flags from AI empires do not change on save and load though, just the player.

I was playing with the doomsday origin and I found that even after the planet exploded, the hegira modifier was still there and was still trying to spawn new empires.
StormFather  [developer] Feb 18, 2021 @ 10:32pm
What mods you playing with, anything that changes planets? The Hegira country modifier should get removed once you have a new capital. Did you not get the 'Hegira over" event?
That One Rex Feb 18, 2021 @ 11:49pm
I did get the Hegira over event, but I don't have any mods affecting planets and in empire wide modifiers it still shows the Hegira modifier. The only mods I can think of that might possibly be causing it is army and general staff and dynamic political events.
StormFather  [developer] Feb 18, 2021 @ 11:59pm
Hmmm those shouldnt effect it. Ill go over the code again and test it, probably a bug somewhere; thanks for the report. In the meantime you can open console and enter 'remove_modifier = fatherland_the_hegira' to manually remove it. Make sure you havent select a planet so it uses country_scope. That should stop spawning!

Some of the Hegrian States like Scandinavia aren't spawning with Revolution - Ethics and Civics civics. Is there a specific load order, or is something interfering with ethics generation?

Ello!

I'm getting lots of error messages in my error.log:

[21:31:34][effect_impl.cpp:313]: Script Error: Invalid context switch[event_target:fatherland_species], file: events/fatherland_rogue.txt line: 1245, Scope:
type=planet
id=7033
random={ 0 3703348395 }
root={
type=country
id=17
random={ 0 3703348394 }
from={
type=country

random={ 0 716286278 }
saved_event_target={
type=country
id=17
name="AIAgency"
}
saved_event_target={
type=country
id=17
name="fatherland_empire"

And after a while my game decided to crash. This was with the Barren Galaxy setting (if it makes any difference).

I had one rogue colony appear, Crusader states. I also reloaded the save I made just when they popped up and tried to play as the colony. Then I noticed that the colony isn't even of my race, but some other random race.

Oceanic League is misspelled as Oceanic Leaugue when using the UNE Hegria setting. Fantastic mod though, thanks

Can confirm the bug that if you have a mod that changes ethics or civics, you get empires spawning as Neutrals with no empire name, no civics, and no ethics.
