How to connect the trains to the wagons?

They connecting automaticly. Just draw them close to each other and you'll see pop up in the lower right corner.

but when I undo the cart its connected to won't connect anymore

Had the same problem >.>
Delete and respawn one of the two trains/cars your trying to connect and the connectors should cooperate now

Yeah, that happens to me to. you just have to delete it and respawn the same type and it should work.
