Print and Play!
A common request I've had is for the files to print out the game to play physically.
So, here they are!
Let's Go Adventure - Print & Play Files [1drv.ms]

You'll need some regular 6-sided dice to keep track of player's PP and Level Up Counters. 1 dice for each player's PP tracker, and each player will need 5 dice for their Level Up Counters.
I'd recommend that the Level Up Counter dice are different to the PP trackers. Maybe use smaller dice that are a different colour.

You can just print all the components on paper, but I'd recommend using thicker paper/card for the board and playing cards.
I'd also recomend sleeving the cards, or at least the Pokémon and Item cards and using a trading card slotted behind to reinforce them (E.g., a Pokémon card or Magic card).

You'll also need some small counters to mark map pins. Try using some small plastic counters, or even just some discs punched out from a paper hole puncher. Ideally they should be Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow for each player colour.

Finally you'll need a 6-sided dice, 4-sided dice and Battle Bonus Dice for the PKMN, movement and Battle Dice, respectively.
You can use a dice rolling smartphone app for the PKMN and Movement dice if necessary (there are lots of free apps on the various app stores).
There's also a dice rolling guide in the files so you can use a regular 6-sided dice for the Battle dice.

You can also use the player pieces from the files, or any other kind of plastic figure to use as player pieces. (Be the dog from monopoly, an orc from warhammer, a chunk of cheese. IDK, you do you!)

The player boards and reminder cards are optional, but do help.

As the setup is automated on TTS, here's what you need to do to set the game up manually:

MANUAL SETUP
------------

1. On the board, place the Tree and Boulder tokens in their respective spaces (these have Brown and Purple highlights on them). Also place a Locked gym token on Viridian and Saffron city, and the victory road closure token to the left of Viridian City.
2. Each player chooses a colour and places their player peice on Pallet town. They also receive a player board in their colour and a dice to track their PP (each player starts with 1 PP).
3. Remove the starter Pokémon and their evolutions from the Pokémon decks. Each player can choose a starter, or be dealt them randomly. Each player also gets their starter's evolutions from the Blue and Red decks, which they should just keep to one side for now.
4. Players place their starters on their player board face up and take an "Active Pokémon Counter", which they place below their starter.
5. Shuffle the Green, Blue, Red and Event card decks. Place them on the game board in their respective slots.
6. Remove the "Rare Items" (items with a star in their name) from the Item deck. Shuffle the Item deck and deal 4 cards to each player. Then, shuffle in the Rare Items back into the Item Deck.
7. Remove the Rival Title from the Title cards. Shuffle the remaining and flip over 4 cards. Place them along with the Rival card next to the Title deck face up (which doesn't have a slot on the board, so just place them to the side of the board).
8. Pair the Gym Leaders and Elite 4 cards with their respective Pokémon and place them along the side of the board with their Trainer portrait card on top (reward side face down).
9. Finally, place the Mega Pokémon to one side (no need to shuffle them) and the other tokens/dice in reach of all players.

Everything else should be the same as in the rules!

Have fun!

(I'd love to see your set up if you do print and play! Post in the Discord channel please! Thanks :] )

So, I have always wanted to try this out, but I have some question about the boardsize. Would you happen to know the dimensions of it?

For instance. I want to print this out on a custom playmat, but I have no idea what size would be appropriate...

Thanks for checking it out.
The board should be easily printable on 2 A4 (or "letter") sized pages.
If you're printing it on a larger scale as one piece, you can adjust the image to the size you would like, but I would say 11.7 x 16.5 inches would be the minimum size.

I would like to say to hold off just for now on printing any of the components for now as I'm working on releasing a new print and play version with some updates.

Hoping to get this out soon, but in the meantime, you can join the Discord server for updates!
