Using the Command Console to Add or Remove Skulls
Q. I've already killed three dragons before subscribing to the Drop Skulls mod. Can I get three more skulls to make my collection complete?

A. Sure! Just use the Command Console, which is built into the Skyrim game for computers (not available for XBox or PS). You must use the console to get the ID number for the skull (as it is not the same for everyone who subscribes to the mod) and then use the console to add the item to your character's inventory.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

IMPORTANT: Make sure you SAVE your game *before* using the Command Console, and be careful to type the commands correctly.

There are at least two methods to add skulls to your character's inventory:

First Method - Find a Skull, Pick It Up, Use the Console

1. Start Skyrim

2. Save your game

3. Travel to the location of one of the skull type you want to add (see the FAQ section on the Description webpage for this mod)

4. Pick up the skull to add it to your inventory

5. Open the command console by pressing the tilde key on your keyboard: ~

6. Type: player.showinventory

7. Press the Enter key to see the items in your inventory

8. The skull should be the last item listed. Take note of the ID number listed next to it.

9. To add an additional skull of the same kind, type: player.additem xxxxxxxx 1

(Note: Where xxxxxxxx is the ID number for the skull you want to duplicate.)

10. To add more than one skull to your inventory, change the last number to the number of skulls you want to add.

11. To remove a skull from your inventory, type: player.removeitem xxxxxxxx 1

(Note: Where xxxxxxxx is the ID number for the skull you want to remove.)

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Second Method - Use the Command Console With No Skull in Your Inventory

1. Start Skyrim

2. Save your game

3. Open the command console by pressing the tilde key on your keyboard: ~

4. Type: help skull

5. Press the Enter key to see a list of items having the word skull

6. Press the PgUp or PgDown keys on your keyboard to scroll through the list

7. When you find the skull you want, take note of the ID number listed next to it

8 To add an additional skull of the same kind, type: player.additem xxxxxxxx 1

(Note: Where xxxxxxxx is the ID number for the skull you want to duplicate.)

9. To add more than one skull to your inventory, change the last number to the number of skulls you want to add.

10. To remove a skull from your inventory, type: player.removeitem xxxxxxxx 1

(Note: Where xxxxxxxx is the ID number for the skull you want to remove.)

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Example: To add three more dragon skulls to your inventory, you follow either of the above instructions and find that the ID number for Dragon Skull is 0100A33F. You type: player.additem 0100A33F 3 and press Enter. A message appears at the top left of the screen, "Dragon Skull (3) added." You change your mind and want to remove one of the skulls. So you type: player.removeitem 0100A33F 1 and press Enter. A message on the screen states, "Dragon Skull removed." You check your inventory and confirm that two additional dragon skulls are there.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Please reply to this discussion thread if you have any questions about these instructions.

Note: Use the Command Console at your own risk! Typing the wrong commands might mess up your game. And ALWAYS SAVE first!
