How do I DISABLE this? {SOLVED}
I used to have this subscribed to, and now I don't; yet the HUD still appears on my friend's server. Is this something wrong on my side, or something to do with the server?

go to garrysmod folder in addons folder and delete the file that says "battlefield_4_hud". This should solve your problem.

Actually I've found that Garry's Mod seems to be copying what the admin seems to be seeing so I'm guessing your friend has the exact same thing. My friend has a different HuD and I get his HuD so it's nothing to do with you. It's most likely something to do with the server or him. But honestly I wouldn't worry bout it how bad can the HuD actually be? :spycon:

Restart it becuase in my game i disable a addon and then i have to restart my game or itll stay where it is and when i boot it back up the changes will initiciate

In a server, even clientside files are sent to the client. This can be a problem, or it can be good.

i think the addon will download itself again automatically
so the real way to disable it is to Unsobscribe the mod itself

ok, here, if you have both uninstalled and unsubscribed, and it still shows on your friends server, you go to option, multiplayer, then the download paert at the bottom, set to either dont download, or map only, and it will stop it from installing again when you join a server using it. problem is if you join another server and dont have the files it will only install the map, leaving errors and purple and back checkerboards
