Ah ♥♥♥♥, does that mean if it doesnt get fixed soon there's no way to get it back? Hopefully they fix it. Thanks for answering.
As a disclaimer, I didn't have anything to do with the creation of this mod. I just like tinkering and making mods for games for myself to use so when I saw that this wasn't working anymore, I fixed it for myself and decided to share it at least until a real fix from Daddy Pika becomes available.

I did some more testing today and was able to replicate the issue you are describing. I'm gonna see if I can fix it, but in the meantime you can add the mod manually with this: Google Drive Download [drive.google.com] or Paradox Forum [forum.paradoxplaza.com].
The forum post has some instructions I wrote on how to add the mod manually (same as adding any mod manually in ck3).
Does not include a descriptor file, so the launcher refuses to even let you load it.
Manually downloading the file from paradox's site also produces an archive without a descriptor.
Using a workshop downloader site to get this version and overwrite the paradox mods zip, while extracting and renaming the descriptor and editing it to put in the path manually and everything.. still doesn't get the launcher to want to load it, because it deletes the descriptor file linking to the mod when the launcher starts up.
I don't know how Paradox made the handling of mods worse than CK2, but they did it, with a brand new terrible launcher program too.
