How to build other military ships than early corvette
Hi, I researched other hulls and in the ship designer automaticly are other ships like acclamator and dreadnought. but in my shipyard i can only build the early corvette.
I played with galactic empire, eriadu authority, mon calamari, and senat loyalist. Its always the same i can not build any other military ship

You need a Heavy Orbital Shipyard or a Heavy Planetary Shipyard or the Starforge

I believe every faction starts with at the least, a orbital shipyard around their capital world

I too have this issue where the most powerful ship I can build no matter what megastructures exist is a corvette. No cruisers or x-wings etc. Curious if this is a glitch, or if you play as the Empire you don't run into this same issue?

No no no, while your stations can build ships and possess 1 'shipyard' each, your orbital/planetary/forge megastructures possess 3-20 'shipyards', like you build your bigger ships by clicking the orbital/planetary/forge megastructures and switching the tab to the shipyards and clicking the ships you want.

Just a quick reminder: Orbital shipyards can be built around any uninhabited planet, but have fewer shipyard build slots. Planetary shipyards can only be built around colonized planets and provide a larger number of ship build slots.

Also Planetary shipyards build ships faster and cheaper if you upgrade them
