cvars.txt not working
So I created a cvars.txt with only one command: god "1"

But it seems like it doesn't activate when I started a campaign and consequently I had to manually enable god mode through the radial menu. Anyone tell me if there's something wrong?

Try this:
  1. You create a "Text Document" file and place the cvars commands (no quotes are necessary)
  2. Go to "File" and "Save As..."
  3. There you put it with the name cvars and in Type you select "All files" and accept.
  4. Then you take the file to the corresponding location: Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\ems\admin system
  5. With that, you enter L4D2 and create a Local Server server and there you will have the cvars commands that you selected already changed.

Here I leave you in case the cvars commands do not load when you start the transition map:
