Bug Reports
Found a bug? You can post it here (with accompanying lua error if possible). Don't complain about missing features, only issues with current ones.

If you have a GitHub account, post it here instead: https://github.com/MattJeanes/Safe-Space/issues

Please use GitHub if possible to report bugs, it's easier to maintain and I'll respond to everything.

Check both open and closed issues on GitHub in case your bug has already been reported.

Stuff broken after an update? Restart your game first before reporting it!

The interior is a Black and White Checker Board for me...

I've found 5 so far. Here they are in no particular order:

1. Any door frame thickness value below 24 will get the player stuck in the doorway.

2. If the doorway is too close to a wall, the player can't go through. The bigger the room is, the further away from a wall it has to be.

3. The portal doesn't render if the door frame is horizontal.

4. If the room intersects with the map in any way, all its contents come visible to those outside of it.

5. The invisible room's portal is always visible from one side, so you can easily see where the actual safe space is within the map.

On a sidenote, putting a safespace inside a safespace creates some interesting results. Creating safespace B inside safespace A and going through B will just send you to the exit of A, as it does with players that try to noclip out. However, creating space B outside of A and then moving the doorway B inside space A will cause it to work, but not render properly. I managed to do 3 nested safespaces and create an absolute rendering mess!

Hey, I'm just getting this error every time I spawn a Safe Space. That and the doorframe isn't rendering, and the same for the interior. There's two soda cans instead of a frame. How's that for weird? Anyway, error is this:

[Safe Space] addons/doors-master/lua/entities/gmod_door_interior/modules/sh_handleplayers.lua:7: attempt to compare nil with number
1. v - addons/doors-master/lua/entities/gmod_door_interior/modules/sh_handleplayers.lua:7
2. CallHook - addons/doors-master/lua/entities/gmod_door_interior/shared.lua:29
3. CallHook - lua/entities/gmod_safespace_interior/shared.lua:26
4. unknown - addons/doors-master/lua/entities/gmod_door_interior/init.lua:64

I see you're using a local version of Doors so make sure it's up to date first
