Well, this was a fun and quite short experience. Riptide is a very frenetic campaign with a variety of levels that go through a mix of malls and shorelines. It's gloomy and cloudy atmosphere go quite well with the general design of the levels, and it's decadent urbanistic touches. From a visual standpoint, it's a very solid set of maps that offer good variety without going too overboard. Pretty simple in that regard.

The gameplay, despite the short duration of the campaign, can get quite intense, even in Normal. Hordes are very common as well as crescendo events. It can get tiring at times, and special infected are slightly more numerous, yet, because the levels are quite simple, you won't find special events that lock you from progressing due to bad bots, or are just too annoying to complete. Not a bad set of maps to play alone, at all!

Riptidi is fun and short. It doesn't offer much, but what it has it's good enough. Perfect for some quick sessions of zombie-killing glory.
