I don't get why so many people say this skin should go with a Nikana. Right now the Paracesis is literally the only single-edged heavy blade in-game that is not a skin. The reason why I mention this is because we actually need more of those. There are currently three heavy blade skins (apart from reskins) that are single-edged aswell and all of them are fricking massive! (I still love their designs tho)

It's extremely refreshing to see a slender single-edged skin for something that is not a Nikana of some sort including two-handed Nikanas. I get that 2h Nikanas need skins but it's not going to be this one. On one hand because Nikanas are usually slim, like very slim. Even the Pennant looks way slimmer than this (which isn't directly an argument but it tells alot about what 2h Nikanas/Odachis are) and on the other hand because the creator already decided this is going to be a heavy blade a long time ago so just asking for a complete rehaul kinda feels disrespectful towards his effort. It's everything but easy to adjust a whole design to fit another weapon type.

What I'm basically saying is that this is a one of a kind skin for a heavy blade and has alot to it other skins don't have. It looks as powerful as pretty much any other heavy blade yet it slenderness is unmatched. The only weapon I can think of that has at least a similiar feel to it is the Paracesis. There's only one issue with it: Its aesthetics don't make it look as powerful as this skin does. It still looks powerful... just not as much.

This is why this skin shouldn't be a Nikana skin of any kind. In my eyes the whole idea of this being something else but a heavy blade skin testifies a certain lack of creativity and imagination in the community without. I'm not trying to bash anyone but from a designers point of view those comments on both this version and the old one just don't seem very thought-out.

(Personal note to the creator: I don't know how but you managed to completely revamp the whole design. Just improving some textues or changing a few details would have been enough, even regarding the rules, but you straight up spit out a 2.0 instead of some 1.X [which are perfectly fine aswell] and I think you deserve some appreciation for the effort. It would be a shame if DE didn't see the potential in your work. I know this probably sounds like I'm trying to fawn or something but I'm really hyped rn.)
