Fix inside: Upgrading industries creates insanely high maintenence costs
As other players already mentioned in the comments.
Upgrading the industries makes the player "own" them all - and pay millions per week.

I wonder if just commenting out that line 40 in res\config\game_script\mn_upgrader_gs.lua makes the mod break and stop working as intended:
game.interface.setPlayer(param.id, game.interface.getPlayer())

But doing so helps with the issue.

Hmm. You used it in a game where you created the map beforehand and placed the industries manually in the map editor?

It was a premade map that I downloaded from the workshop, but it was a "self made" map beforehand if you can look at it that way.

I will test it in my next game session, perhaps the behaviour was changed again with the latest patch - and I did not use that mod on industries since then. Only on train stations.

Hmm. On my end it looks like there is a little impact, but just like 10% more of "infrastructure/misc" cost instead if the ridiculous values it was before commenting out that line.

@GordonDry, In Senseless V2 I've lowered the maintenance costs for manually placed industries considerably. I will update V1 also. ;)

Not here. May game got 800+ mods and does not crash.
Your issue is elsewhere.
Did you realize that you need both mods as the mentioned mod is an addon mod to the original mod?

I figured it out. I missed the small section of keeping the old mod and setting priority higher on the old mod before loading his mod. Works great.
