The spaceship is so expensive, even in space it counted toward colony wealth so I couldnt even maintain a small outpost on the ground. it made ground raids WAY broken.

The timer had already come to the moment when the attack was about to take place.
In the end, it turns into an endless battle, when you just finished one battle, so another begins immediately.

Or maybe some way to hide? I could see something like 'if no ship reactors are active, or no bridge installed, ships do not detect you so attacks stop'? Some mechanism to throttle the attacks while the player learns things.
I havent tested it yet, should I change storyteller? Should I stop scanning for ships to stop raids? Is esxaping a reliable way to avoid fights?

Open up your save file using a note pad. Search for SaveourShip and you'll find the save our ship section somewhere in the middle of the file and a few lines down "bounty".
For some reason sometimes if you bounty is like 20 or above, or if you're using specific story tellers, your game will "break" either by by having non stop battles or you won't be able to naturally escape battles as intended. Setting the bounty to -1000000 fixes this. Simply save the file, then open your game normally.
Once its fixed you can set the bounty back to 100 or 1000. This can fix the non stop fights and several bugs if you run into them! Hope that helps.
