To many space figths.
I play on medium difficulty and there are actually too many attacks in space. Literally every 15 days or so. It is especially strange how to survive at the station (start of the game) when the enemy arrives at you on day 22.

Is it possible to somehow reduce the frequency of attacks? Since at the beginning of the game, while the player has no technology, he is an easy target for any opponent.

mines worse than yours, its literally an attack every couple of days

Same here. Every couple days. Got tired so much i just turn on dev mode, destroy walls untill i see the bridge and destroy their nav console and abandon the wreck.

You're not meant to survive on the station. You're supposed to steal a ship or two and land them on the planet below using the shuttles to settle a tile, then abandon the empty station (or keep it open to visit the wreckage later unless it gets destroyed, which it probably will.)

Okay okay, you are the creator and you can see better how this wonderful (no sarcasm, thank you for that) mod should work. But the fact is that the world is full of people who are not able to cope with certain things, either due to age or insufficient development of their mind. And here I am, as one of these, is unable to communicate normally with this mod, it's difficult for me, too difficult. Is it possible to make for such people a small tweak in the modification to reduce the damn frequency of space attacks (customization of modifications in the main menu).

Take even the situation with the mission "space flight". You have no weapons, when you take off from the planet you are practically dead.

P.S. the lives of the not very smart matter.

Really? I moved into space and am staying there. I land a shuttle to trade.. thats it.
The spaceship is so expensive, even in space it counted toward colony wealth so I couldnt even maintain a small outpost on the ground. it made ground raids WAY broken.
Some flagship or dreadnought (every few days) rocks up I just nope tf out of there.

Whoa man, never said anything like that. It's okay. I'll do what I can to make it suck less. It's not a very good encounter, needs improvement. Noted.

Randy Random has been giving us issues with random difficulty spikes mixed with our own plethora of bugs. So try stepping down to Cass or Phobe in the meantime.

It was more of a joke and sarcasm over me, which is simply difficult to deal with. Don't take it seriously)

Now the battle system is designed in such a way that, apparently, the countdown from one battle to the next begins at the moment the message "battle is won" is received. But the enemy ship cannot attack (if I'm not mistaken) the player's ship until you abandon the old battlefield. But he is a man like a hamster, he does not want to leave the battlefield. I would like to drive the ship to myself, and disassemble it completely. And that's the moment when the player disassembled it and threw the battlefield, he almost instantly receives (a few seconds perhaps) a new attack. The timer had already come to the moment when the attack was about to take place.

In the end, it turns into an endless battle, when you just finished one battle, so another begins immediately.

Anyway, thank you for your work. I wish you and your loved ones more health and not get sick. This is very important now.

Completely agree with this thread. You know the Planetary Invasion Flagship? It attacked me EVERYDAY ( Every-single-day ). The mod is awesome imo, but really, it need an option for turning off the Raid in space or space out random encounters. Very much thanks.

Or maybe some way to hide? I could see something like 'if no ship reactors are active, or no bridge installed, ships do not detect you so attacks stop'? Some mechanism to throttle the attacks while the player learns things.

Playing on Randy medium. Frequency of raids is a little too much. Either an option to stop space raids or a way to effectively lower the number of raids would be very appreciated.

I havent tested it yet, should I change storyteller? Should I stop scanning for ships to stop raids? Is esxaping a reliable way to avoid fights?

Ps, beautiful mod, I got 500 h thanks to you I will get to 1000 h

There is actually a very easy way to avoid this, also this can help fix several Save our Ship related bugs like when you have a ship that you can't salvage or if somehow you keep getting stuck in the same space battle over and over again.

Open up your save file using a note pad. Search for SaveourShip and you'll find the save our ship section somewhere in the middle of the file and a few lines down "bounty".

For some reason sometimes if you bounty is like 20 or above, or if you're using specific story tellers, your game will "break" either by by having non stop battles or you won't be able to naturally escape battles as intended. Setting the bounty to -1000000 fixes this. Simply save the file, then open your game normally.

Once its fixed you can set the bounty back to 100 or 1000. This can fix the non stop fights and several bugs if you run into them! Hope that helps.

It's not, the entire intention of that start is for you to escape. Think of it realistically. A space station sacrifices movement for space and defences. If you have a scuttled space station, which has had it's defences compromised, people will no doubt want to seize the destroyed station to salvage it for parts. By stealing a spaceship, you are moving yourself away from that dangerous situation with a beginner ship which cannot fight well, but can escape danger easily.

how do you abandon the station^???????????? its making my wealth absurdely high and the raids are unfair
