If I end up getting feedback on this from DE and they think something is too "on the nose" hair wise then I'll fix it up to the best of my ability! :-) No biggy!
As far as how DE handles feedback towards tennogen creation vs what they actually create and things like that, I don't feel that they "break their own rules" as many people like to put it.
Here is how I see it, and this is honestly just my opinion - I don't wish to argue with anyone or start a heated discussion even, but:
-They made this awesome game, so they can do whatever they want to be honest.
-Yes, Mirage prime has obvious eyes, but she is a prime / orokin theme which is not one of the factions that are allowed in tennogen. Additionally, I also think it's probably meant to be some sort of mask, because she also has somewhat of a face on the top of her head.
- I don't think you can compare Deluxe skins "ever" to anything that is meant to be held to tennogen's art style guidelines.
Deluxe skins are, in my opinion often meant to push the boundaries and offer something that tennogen and the regular / prime warframe aesthetic does not. (Not always! -- sometimes they have a faction style that they adhere to (IE: Limbo deluxe is sentient / Chroma Deluxe is the red power ranger, AKA: Zipper face! ) XD :-P ---- but some of the deluxe skins push that to a point where something similar would absolutely be rejected as a tennogen submission -- and rightfully so. (Again, just my humble opinion).
======
With that said, I do appreciate any and all feedback as long as it's not "this is garbage" with no reason whatsoever as to why some one feels that way.
:-)
-Ash Prime's helmet has the longest hair ever
-Ash locust and scorpion, and even the koga to an extent all have a ponytail
-Banshee Prime's Helmet
-Baruuk's got a manbun
-7/8 of Ember's helmets have a mohawk
-Equinox Divisia from Hitsusan has 3 braids
-Excalibur Kaduto from Hitsusan also has a ponytail
-Jotun Frost has a FREAKING BEARD while the prime looks like homer simpson.
-Garuda has twin tails as ribbons for Successor
-Hildryn's best helm has two fat braids.
-Hydroid's got beard galore on prime and tennogen
-Inaros has a ponytail to an extent
-Ivara's got that Arcuata Moostaache +bunny ears
-Khora has 100% hair on ALL of her helmets from DE and tennogen.
-Loki Erebus has a glowing mustache and a knave ponytail
-Mesa has a graxx ponytail.
-Irkalia Nekros has wispy hair
-Nezha's our adorable cross dresser and miku cosplayer
-Octavia's Diva should be obvious
-Saryn Prime's helmet, Mitha, Amalgama, Graxx, Belladonna, Hemlock, and Velenosa
-Titanya's Lympharis skin reminds me alot of a hair clip
-Trinity Prime... Trinity Prime. She's also got Messiah
-Valkyr's Kara alt helmet, Graxx helmet, and Leonessa show signs of hair.
-Wu Kong not only has twin energy hair on two+prime helmets by DE, but also Saiyan hair now.
-Zephyr has something akin to short twin tails in her default, two alt, and Hagoromo skin.
Some are a bit of a stretch that's all the hairs for warframe.
That being said I do havea question. Is that side bang following cloth physics? it may be a bit weird having that stick out to the side.
Also the helmet could benefit from being smoothed out a little, feels a bit too angular for wisp imo.
Frost Jotun helm is one of my favs of all time - I forgot about that helmet!! I need to pick that up!
As far as the shape of her head, I felt that giving her a choice for something a bit different than what she already has was the whole goal there. I wanted some concave shapes and sharp features while still capturing the whole cloth around neck / part of her helmet.
The only way I would do that much of a revamp on the helmet is if I got feedback from DE, and they suggested a shape change / asked for her to have rounder features, as that - would basically require starting the entire helmet from scratch / a complete re-design.
(Sorry I didn’t answer these questions with my first reply @VXE!
regardless, yeah, there's still plenty of examples of tennogen that has one or more details that are supposed to "not be allowed", so i don't really get why people keep harping on it
