Card Back Requests and Tutorial
Quick and easy find an image you like on the internet or host one your self.
Once you have that .jpg/.png/.mp4/.webm just type into the chat
Scryfall back https://gamepedia.cursecdn.com/mtgsalvation_gamepedia/f/f8/Magic_card_back.jpg
or what ever your image url is and future cards spawned by you in that server will have that card back. This doesn't cross over onto other servers so save your decks or favorite that url on your browser for future use.


Changing the Default for your tables
Some of you may not like the White Magic M on Black background for a card back, and if you want the table you play on to have something different totally fine but it'll take a little messing around in my code. Same as before find your card back you want and make sure it works on tabletop simulator! Then start digging around in my importer, right click it and edit it's script.

you'll want to replace that whole https://i.stack.imgur.com/787gj.png with whatever image you found and there you have it. You only have to do that when i update the importer, and you'll still have the same functionality and be informed of future updates to the importer.

Request your card back!
Thats where this discussion comes into play!
Using your unique steam_id and what ever url you request in this discussion i'll store your cardback onto the savestate of my importer and all future versions will continue to have that card back when ever you spawn that card!

If you've ever played with me or one of my friends you'll see they never have to use the "Scryfall back" command since its already in the importer! I'll need your steam_id and imageurl like this:

Regarding Cardbacks I have a feature request / idea:

i personally don't really like the idea of having player/account tied cardbacks. I prefer having cardbacks on a per deck basis. This is, both in RL and in TTS, very handy because it allows me to quickly distinguish where a card comes from, also it adds a nice flavor touch to your deck.

So now my feature request: I'd love to be able to add a cardback URL or even a "token" representing a card back (maybe from a list in a notebook or comparable) when importing a deck.

Scryfall DeckURL BackURL
or something like
Scryfall DeckURL GruulCardBack

and then
GruulCardBack BackURL
AzoriusCardBack BackURL
etc..

somewhere in a Notebook or maybe even stored globally so everyone else can use these aswell?

hmm that would take a lot of restructuring for that to work as a chat command, What i can do is make a block that can save all the card backs you like and change what card back you have currently.
I'm currently working on a module to store all your deck urls and their names. so i'll add it to that!

That is an interesting idea. The encoder object would do all the lifting, and you'd have an object you bring between games that stores your settings. It's giving me ideas. I'm going to play around with how I would implement it, see what I come up with.

How can I import a specific print from a set? I am trying to import the showcase basic lands from the M21 set.

what deck list site are you using? make sure it has the correct printing. If my importer isn't getting the correct ones please paste the link to your deck list as there may be some discrepency between databases and how they refer to that printing.

hmm it seems that on tappedout it stored the set but not the collection number weird

If you want you can use these command to spawn the basics
