What do you think would make a new good character for Sovngarde?
ONLY rules is that it has to be a Nord and in Sovngarde, inside or outside. You can decide.

Current Ideas
Hrofald Iron-Arm: former Housecarl of Windhelm, Companion, and a Two-Handed Soldier
Jolvar the Seer: Former mage of Winterhold, trained at the Imperial City's College for 5 years.
Katria: From the "Lost to the Ages" quest.
Burd of Bruma: Determined guard who defended the town of Bruma from the Oblivion Crisis during the events of 4E, 433.
Kordan: Furious pirate captain who got decapitated by Jarl Harglfdir
Harglfdir: Jarl of Solitude during 1E, 678, he decapitated Kordan after Kordan killed 127 of his heavily trained soldiers.
Klignyllold: Atmoran peasant who got furious one day from the freezing temperatures who slaughtered several warriors and then killed.
Sigvaliner: Falkreath guard who killed a werewolf who was going to destroy the small town

I invented a good pair of NPCs in my head, a husband and a wife, with their dialogue (just text, no voice, of course), maybe shared between them, maybe just wife tells it, it depends on how you are at scripting. It is all linear, but relatively long, thus probably this topic is not a proper place to publish. Maybe via e-mail?

I can't guarantee it would all work out, but still there is a chance it will.
Currently, I'd just say they are very old Nords, maybe from Atmora itself, when it was not frozen. They were peasants most of their life, but one of them died when furiously protecting their home, and his/her spouse ultimately came for him... even though maybe the surviving member of the family didn't had merit of that kind, only the one made by peasant's life, but maybe this time the gods were merciful, especially taking into account they would even precede Isgramor himself, like the first inmates in this inn, so they are both here.

Katria from Dragonborn deserves to be in Sovngarde for sure. Even if the player did not take her quest yet.

EDIT: And Burd from Oblivion, the captain of Bruma can get his own place in the cell.

If you ever come back to this… the Shieldmaiden Matilda (Ragnar the Red slayer). She was so aggro that surely she went to Sovngarde.
The books and songs have many Nord characters you could choose, too.
