They probably did think of it but didn't do it because katanas generally carry a graceful and composed air about them. The Grineer are absolutely not graceful or composed so it wouldn't fit them.

The braids look really legit, like it looks exactly like the ones in-game, like direectly taken from the game....I wonder if that's actually the case or he/she modelled it personally...

I modeled it myself, yea. I don't know how to rip models from the game sadly. Thanks for the compliments though!
