Haha, that would be artistic license ;) It's a piece of art with idealizations. Maybe it was some sort of prophecy?

Yeah but when new players buy it they will have no idea what it means, but after Second Dream and War Within they will have a huge "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" moment and itll all make sense.

EDIT: Better yet, what if it carves the story into the sword the farther you go into it? So if you complete the Second Dream, it will carve the events of the Second Dream into the sword.

I say we have it so the blade has the carvings for all the cinematic quests,then they slowly get 'inked in'(so it goes from light grey to black,so its easier to see and make out).While this is quite a few models,it shouldn't be as hard to create.

On the other hand,how would this work as new quests get released?

I think the spoilers are vague enough for someone to not make a connection till the events have happened. (And as mentioned, it probably would lead to a pretty neat moment of revelation.)

it only really needs the story up to sacrifice, as that is one main "Arc" of the game. future quests get future swords.

so the story on the side of it ends at the sacrafice and the over all angle of the blade is nearly the exact same as the parasesis
