Destroying the cross in the Church makes it a Satanic Church, You can rob the bank in a heist which alerts the police station, there is a hidden weapon cache inside the bookstore, and there is a hidden safe behind the bookcase in the penthouse suite. That's all I've found so far.

If you explore the subway tunnels (or noclip) you can find weird abandoned brick tunnels with cobwebs and vents you crawl in and it doesn't give me good vibes.

Ive seen 2 black cats sprayed onto the walls which you can press E on, they just make a little confirming bleep but I dont know what they do or where more could be

Someone on the facepunch forums said pressing all 10 makes a phone ring or does somthing, I wasted my time finding all 10 cause they wouldn't tell

Just shoot it with an RPG a couple of times, or a very strong weapon

If you're talking about what I think you are, those are hidden tunnels that lead to a wall with lamps facing it. The wall can be destroyed, and it leads into the bank vault.

So what the cat do actually ?
