This is important to everyone who would like to use this mod with other mods which are reliant on User Interface modifications (like Government+):

Base Traits DX does not require the UI update, so you can manually delete the UI from the mod.

To do this, move to your SteamApps folder where Stellaris is installed.
(Most commonly: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\)
In this folder, go to "workshop" > "content" > "281990" > "1650672393"

This is the Base Trait DX mod folder. It should contain a single .zip-file called "btdx.zip".

Unpack the zip, then delete the "interface" folder inside.
Pack the zip again, with all the remaining files and the same structure.
Name the .zip-file "btdx.zip" and replace it with the old .zip-file.

That way you'll miss out on the updated trait UI, but any other mod requiring an updated Interface should now be working.


Remember that this is only a workaround, so you'll probably have to repeat this process whenever the mod gets updated.
I'm also not sure if it'll be compatible in multiplayer that way.
