My Review of the Mod. Hope it Helps.
So I noticed a lot of people asking about this mod, so I decided to leave a bit of a review after I ran a few tests to help people out.

First, my initial load up upon starting the game was faster, which I was excited about. It wasn't a massive difference, but it was still noticeable. Anything that let's me get into Kenshi sooner makes me happy.

Second, I ran a few tests in game. I purposefully went on an adventure with a squad staying in Heft and another squad roaming around. I chose the desert since the heat haze and dust storms I figured would definitely push my machine, and this mod, to its limits. I kept Fast Zone Hopping on for the first test to see how performance would be affected as it consistently loaded zones. With FZH on, this mod shined a lot. Loading was almost immediate. Granted I didn't roam far (as in a different biome), but I was most definitely in a different chunk of the map that would require a fresh load. There was still a minimal amount of stuttering when a new chunk was loaded, especially as the game just started up, but it was definitely not as bad as it was before. Even when I jumped back and forth between Heft and the desert quickly, there was no performance issues.

Third, I tried the same test but with Fast Zone Hopping off to see how that worked. For reference, this has been a problem for my game. I often have crashed when switching zones, especially if I go back and forth quickly between squads. Yet again, I saw major performance improvements. It cut my load times basically to a second or two. Now if you are looking for no load times, that's not what happened. But the load times were considerably smaller than before.

NOTE: I tested both the second and third tests with the switch between squads happening when the game was paused and while it was moving at 3x speed. Obviously it loaded better when paused, but there was still performance improvements while the game was going.

Fourth, I chilled with my adventuring squad for a bit to see how loading new chunks and new biomes worked. Usually for me, this is where the most stuttering occurred. As I roamed around, the performance was great. If there was stuttering, it was maybe for a few seconds. Personally, I think this was the best part of the mod.

Fifth, and this is a big one, I personally noticed no difference visually. As far as I could tell, the textures looked exactly the same. Now as a disclaimer, I might not have a very well trained eye for textures. But I was comparing my visuals to the visuals from Orange 01 (a Kenshi YouTuber) and the textures looked exactly the same. If the compression hurt the textures at all, it at least wasn't noticeable to the point where it hurt my experience in the game. Besides, I was so elated at the performance boost, if there were textures that weren't good I didn't care. I was just happy to have great load times.

In conclusion, this mod is astounding. It definitely helps your load times while also not hurting your visuals. This is just my personal opinion obviously, but I hope it helps people get the answers they are looking for.

Could you, please, make a fork of this mod to reduce the graphics even more?
2048 > 512
4096 > 1024

You could even have another version with 2048 > 256 & 4096 > 512, and maybe even one with 2048 > 128 & 4096 > 256.

I don't really care much about graphics when I want performance. If I want things to look picture-perfect, I can always disable the mod.

I would like to donate to you for the gift you give subscribers with a gift from myself on behalf of the community of 50 dollars for your contribution to the game. Consider it. I will be waiting for your response. Ty

Probably talking to FG, the maker of this mod.

I found the textures to be noticeably brighter than the default ones. Well I don't play with shadows for the 20 ish boost to my fps but indoors with this texture pack sort of hurt my eyes.

This mod doesn't work that way. Check your other mods.

:steamfacepalm: found out this mod compresses bodies also aka like resets default appearances of bodies you know for those wanting to remove the ugly restrictive bits :D
Surprised this not talked about more actually assumed was just 1 of my other mods and deactivated many others before finding it to be this one.
Thank you, I found your review/test matching the several problems i also encounter in kenshi. I will be downloading this and seeing how it goes! Thanks again and remember bois and girls, make sure to keep those teeth shiny.
