I know that the Suggestions discussion is closed. But i had to create this.

I have been creating a support from DV to a racetrack map, and i noticed how bad DV can run on races. It may be only for traffic vehicles, but trying to simulate a race is kinda hard. Since the AI at some point turns around and start crashing head-on with another vehicles when there is a juncion between 2 in-the-same-direction roads. And also, when they make a curve that the AI woundn't made, instead of braking before the curve, they brake on curve and it results of them sliding to the other side of the track/road.

I would recomend the following suggestions:

Add an direction waypoint. Cars can only drive in that direction.

Add an awareness for curves. Cars will slow down in a curve that they are way too fast to get in.

Add a yeld waypoint. Cars on this waypoint will wait if there is another vehicle crossing the waypoing they're on.

And also, something that could be even better, an BeamNG.Drive AI system. If you don't know, let me explain.

You get into a car, and that car will create waypoints through the way. Those waypoints properties will be the the excatly properties from the cars. If the car passes with its headlights on, everytime a AI passes through the waypoint given from the car, its headlights turn on too.

Just something that could be interesting idk
