Hi there. Recently I suggested something on the Suggestions area to add other types of TARDIS, and I received a suggestion to actually make a new discussion. So here it is.

The Type 40 TARDIS is known as unreliable and faulty to the Time Lords, but the Doctor declined the opportunity to take one due to it having no personality.

To an extent, I think that new Features should be added to the T40, but new features which are not mentioned with the T40 should be added to higher types of TARDIS. Here are my suggestions. I know that not all of these (and possibly very few) will be possible, but people have said it's a good idea.

T40: This is the TARDIS that the Doctor uses, and it includes a Personality Chip. The TARDIS can be dodgy and hard to fly, but if used correctly can be more efficient than any of the other TARDISes

Types above T40: These types can have Chips added to them, and each Chip grants a new ability for the TARDIS. Maybe even the community can create their owns chips as an addon to an addon. For each chip, there is a new number for the TARDIS. So 3 chips is a T43, 4 is a T44, so on. Here's some examples

Wormhole Materialisation Chip: This is hotwired to N whilst the TARDIS is in flight, this essentially opens a short-flight wormhole, causing a small section of the Time Vortex to open in front of the user. Whilst they are in the vortex, they can fly through any walls and the TARDIS is invisible to anyone from the outside. (Remember when Dr Matt said he'd possibly add noclip flight in the future? :D) However, whilst they are in the Vortex they take damage per second. Exiting the Wormhole creates a visual vortex effect in mid-air, similar to the TARDIS crashing on introduction of the 10th Doctor.

Emergency Transport Protocol: Whist the Chip is active (hold O to activate), the TARDIS will partly dematerialise, causing projectiles and bullets to pass through the TARDIS, but the map can still contact it. Also, damage is inflicted every second, so only use this if it's worth it, such as using it to prevent a Nuclear Missile hitting it rather than someone attacking with a pistol.

There's 2 ideas for chips, I'm fairly certain that you guys can come up with more.

In the Comment Section, try thinking of ideas for your own Chip to add, or tell me exactly what you think about the idea. Don't criticize me directly for it, because I'm only posting this as a fun suggestion, I'm not too attached to the idea, but it'd be cool if this happens.

Dr Matt, I'd love it if you check this out. I don't care if you say no, or it's a bad idea or anything, just take a look, I'd appreciate it. If possible try make it a long term project. Anyways, custom chips let the community shape their game, and they like it when they can do this.
