Archived Modpack Descriptions
If you're brand new to AutoMagic and curious about the content in earlier releases, this post will keep an archive of the original descriptions for modpacks that we've begun phasing off the main page due to Steam's character limit requirements.

Pet Polymorph Pack
(Click here to view our visual guide for this modpack)[farm2.staticflickr.com]
- Pick Any Pet: Using the power of transforming magic, you can now preview and pick any pet breed you want! This ability is closely linked to your town's Pet Store, with all Dog and Cat breeds becoming available as soon as it first opens and ingredients for the 3rd pet species arriving once you complete Rosemary's unlock quests (we won't spoil any details).

As a special bonus, we've also added the Husky pet breed so you can find them in-game again!
(Since Transforming uses a new crafting station, you can view our in-depth walkthrough here)[farm2.staticflickr.com]

- A Wonderful (Pet) Life: Transformed pets arrive in a new, customized pethouse matching their breed and (when happy) can bring home a much wider and more valuable array of pet gifts for you! Depending on their species, pet gifts can range from forest foraging, to ocean fish, or even pastries nabbed from Emilia's Patisserie.

- Piles of Fun: Next time you stop by Leif's General Store, you'll also find an array of brand new toys so you can start bonding with your pets right from the start! This modpack includes 10 new throwing toys with a variety of sizes and weights, along with 2 new training whistles for encouraging your pet to sit, bark, or roll around in the grass for fun.

- Tasty Pet Snacks: After you're done playing, you can now place down a variety of edible toys to take care of your pet while you're busy farming or building around town. You can self-craft or buy snacks like the Chewy Bone that last up to 3 days, or make a longer-lasting Nibbles Dispenser that keeps your pet fed for an entire Season! When they run out of pet meals, these toys simply disappear without any leftover mess.

AutoMagic Automation Pack
(Click here to view our visual guide for this modpack)[farm2.staticflickr.com]
- Automate Anything: Introduces Magic Catalyst as a special ingredient that can be added to any recipe to recast it multiple times, resulting in seamless automation for almost any crafting task! This feature works with any crafting station, including modded ones if they use an existing craft type.

- Magical Economics: Catalyst is inexpensive but consumed with each crafting, so you will need to consider the tradeoffs between adding efficiency with automated crafts or chasing profit margin with manual production. Placing Catalyst also requires an open ingredient slot, so not all recipes may be available for automation right away.

"Sugar! Sweetness is the key to powering magic!" - Cirahna
- Craft Or Order: If you're feeling adventurous, you can try to craft your own Magic Catalyst by boiling down Syrup until it turns into a fine sugary powder (resulting in 15 - 25 Catalyst per craft). You can also order it on the Shipping Catalog for a slightly higher price of 20 Petals each.

- Patisserie Expanding: Under Emilia's tutelage, we've added a new Patisserie Conveyor Oven and Patisserie Chopping Station to complement her line of station upgrades. Each of these stations have +1 max ingredient slots, so you can unlock more automation for advanced cooking recipes and processing as you progress!

- A Friend, The Giving Hammer: Have a habit of losing your hammers? (We do...) This magical hammer resists any attempts at abandoning it, so you can break apart furniture quickly and without any worries of placing it down by accident. However, the magic imbued in this hammer means you can only drop it by gifting it away.

Easy Recoloring Pack
(Click here to view our visual guide for this modpack)[live.staticflickr.com]
- Easy Recoloring: Over 140 new recipes make recoloring simple, quick, and reversible for Stone, Brick, Wood, and Roof tiles. Each kind of block can be painted in 11 possible colors--including a few rare ones not available in vanilla crafting--or washed to remove their color inbetween build projects.

- Worth Your Petals: The "basic blocks" for each block type can be crafted from simple materials (raw stone, dirt, or raw wood) or bought from the Building Store for a discounted price. To begin recoloring, just combine basic blocks with 2 Flower Petals per 10 basic to repaint them in your desired color! There are many different combinations for this, so we've included them all in a quick reference on our visual guide.

- Easy Undo: If you've changed you mind or have some leftovers after a build project, you can also convert colored blocks back to their basic type by cominbing them with a single Jar of Water (refills after each use). Of course, you can also automate both processes with Magic Catalyst to save time!

This modpack is inspired by the vanilla Happy Block series, which are craftable but often overlooked since they can only be made from raw materials: (You can view those recipes here)[farm2.staticflickr.com]
