Hola Edetor89!

For english speakers:
Guys, I noted that even other vanilla villages / cities get scrambled when you import the game. Please, import your game when you are in the village (without occupyng any building with your squad members) as to regain the original distribution.
Have fun!
The quest itself worked like a charm, but obviously I did a scenario you did not think about in the walkthrough and had to load-scum;-)
here it is plus a couple of observations:
I set him free BEFORE talking to him (so I don't know his lines while he is caged) and he just joined right away, off course I did not notice the medal, so I took him back and released him, the golden dude went back to the quest giving line, when he talks about Morpheus being held in the Market etc.
I did not have a clue how to solve it so I had to look it up on the walkthrough, learnt about the medal and I loaded back, got the medal, dismissed him and then it worked.
Very well made charachter and of the appropriate race IMHO, but I run with only females so I had to let him go:-(
Maybe it would be cool if the medal would be stored in one of the super hard chests in the noble's home, after all, if I would capture a monk with such a medal, I surely would not let him keep it on his neck. Also it would prevent the issue I had I guess.
Or....he hid the medal inside of him, so better move it to the armor slot:-))))
One thing I don't understand, I already can craft the "grand elder robes", the black ones, what does rank V give me more? I thought black that was the max already...
No idea if it's difficult or not, i just ask if it would be possible to have same rank robes having different colors, my people all look the same, I don't know who is who anymore:-)))
I can dress them up with vanilla clothing, but I am doin a run focused on your mod so....:-)
I will have to add a couple of new lines to trigger in the case you recruit him and you don't have the medal equipped/obtained, so he can give it to you even if you didn't talk to him before releasing him.
I didn't think about adding the medal to the safe of the house because the building may be subjected to vanilla changes of layouts, etc, which would cost me to keep an eye on more things in case they update vanilla files, and I didn't want to touch/add vendors/spawn layouts of the vanilla Slaver Squad.
I'm glad you liked the quest!
Have fun!
The Book Rank V unlocks the grand elder (only black robes/black pants) while the previous book IV, gives access to the red elder robe/pants. I don't remember exactly If I added anything else in those ranks, but there may be extra things in the future in the case I keep adding other stuff.
Unfortunately I made the colours in purpose to distinct each rank, and they give their own perks increasing each rank... I will think about a recolouring for grand elder robe in a side book :P
I haven't explained myself so well about the rank V, I already had a Black robe (grand elder), BEFORE you made the rank V quest, I never crafted the red one, I went straight to black as I bought a book (black if I am not wrong) and after I found the option in the crafting station.
I wrote something about it in the comment sections a while ago:-)
Thanks for the answers about my observations, I forgot one though:-)
Once again, no ide aif it's easy or not, but it would be so cool (although a bit hard for some), if rank V would really be a solo mission, like the golden dude wants you alone to talk to you? Eh, you also need to go alone and use the stealth skills.
Why didn't I do it anyways? Because I am "weak" IRL and as the game allowed me to, I went in with all the girls:-))
PS. I think I will go exploring the new land with your mod's save, seriously I am having so much fun:-))
The books aren't restricted by faction rank because it is not possible to restrict them like that in the FCS. So they only have the requirements of tech level to make it a bit harder.
I cannot force a real "solo" because there are no triggers or events in the FCS to verify if the player have had or has any extra support in the vecinity. As I did with the quest, you can only
trigger it while being alone, what happens next is not in my control.
Also, if you read the Master V parchement you receive at the end of the mission, there is a hint that it doesn't matter as long as you know that you have trustworthy people at your side. He just "warns" you, not forbids it.
Have fun!
I will go read that parchment, thank god I still have it:-)
I gave that thing to that dude to "fix" him up.....damn I gotta do the spoiler thing again:
So, I am talking of the super OP skelly who needs a CPU (great idea BTW), how does he work?
He is really criptic in his sentences, could it be that when i will rank up more, he will need help somehow (now he says he does not need help) and maybe join us????
I don't like to ask these questions, I'd rather do it in-game, but as the mod is WIP, I don't wanna spend hours working towards a goal only to discover it was a dead end.
Any suggestion on how I should approach the mod? I usually am very careful in using the tools given in-game to understand how things work, but as I am always here bugging you, it seems this round I'm missing something:-)
EDIT: thanks also for the FCS's explanations, I am far from the level of you guys, but I am really interested in the "behind the scenes" of games' mechanics.
The Ancient Elder skeleton does refresh its inventory every 24 hours, its best artifacts are the ancient limbs (only arms).
In the future this skeleton elder will be used for a side quest when I keep developing the main quest. That is why it says that you aren't able to help him now. I plan to unlock that side quest with main quest rank 8.
You can approach the mod the way you want, there is no limitation really. In one of my games, I'm playing a monk squad fighting against the zombie apocalypse, is quite fun!
heheheh MA monks fighting the zombies?? Are u sure it is mate what you drink??;-)
Thanks for clarifying my doubts,I figured it out myself,I edited my post but it was too late, thanks for the patience:-)
I am so looking forward for the developing of the mod...although I guess from monday, you'll be roaming the new lands like everybody else:-)) I'll be patient too...
What I noticed are some different dialogues and one recruit that accepts following you.
Thanks :)
As for now, I'm developing slowly until they release the official 1.0.0, as everytime they make a major change I would have to rebuild a lot of things in the mod.
You also can talk to the Ancient Elder (an skeleton wandering the village), he has a hidden conversation that you can unlock with a CPU unit.
Once they release the new version 1.0.0 , I will start adding more unique NPCs, Items and dialogs.
hahaha you must be op then!, that is funny.
